Café con Leche...yummy!. I was skeptical but the Cafe con Leche was the bomb! Granted, it was a long wait and I was mumbling to my husband...geez, why does it take so long! Well worth the wait - the coffee was hot, strong and tasty! We also decided to try the guava cheese danish - they warmed it up and it was so buttery with just the right hint of sweetness. Can't wait until the next visit...yum...

Too long of a wait for so-so Cuban Food. I was very excited to try this new addition to Laurel Village. I love Cuban food and thought the restaurant looked great.

We ordered 2 sandwiches on a Sunday afternoon. We waited 45 minutes to get the sndwiches to go. The staff was disorganized and had no sense of urgency. They did not apologize for the ridiculously long wait for 2 sandwiches which were ok, but not great.

Unless you want a cup of coffee, skip this place. It is a waste of time and money.

Laurel Village cafe entices locals with Cuban-style bites.. Behind an 18-foot window, patrons can sit on a red suede sofa or meander across a shag carpet to the stool-lined counter. Nibbles include pressed Cuban sandwiches, a daily empanada and pastries such as puff guava. Freethinkers can sip on a "Michelada de Jerry" (beer served with Worcestershire sauce, a dash of Tabasco and lime); more conventional are the glasses of cafecito, agua fresca and wine.

Okay.... I read so many reviews that this coffee house was so awesome. I guess I had high expectations for the food. The pressed sandwich was good but it was kind of small to me and it didn't fill me up as much as I thought it would. The service was good. The Cafecito was awesome. Great place to try but I would suggest maybe eating a little something beforehand if you're looking to get filled up.
