Great Music, poor atmosphere.
Stumbled into this place randomly, I love the music but the place itself is not worth mentioning. Good spot to hang out if you're looking to spend an hour or two before heading somewhere else in the city
Renovated Lower Haight DJ bar draws an eclectic cocktailing crowd to its dark corners and tight little dance floor.. In Short The overall design is low-slung and masculine, with a red-and-black color scheme, classic metal bar stools, and walls lined with black vinyl banquette seating. The dim lighting encourages shenanigans in the corners, while the chic back-lit bar is the center of the action. In the far back, a raised dance floor gets going later in the evening. The crowd varies greatly and depends on the promoter, but the drinks are always solid.

Great spot: excellent DJs, especially DJ Cheb I Sabbah on Wed nights (March 2006). Crowd was ethnically eclectic and very friendly. On a rainy Wed, there were 30 people there, and more than half were dancing. And I mean really dancing. That's impressive. Intimate in size, but not overcrowded.
