The Scene
Around in various incarnations since 1893, this one-room bar was restored to its Victorian-era glory complete with mahogany walls and classic lamp fixtures. The space is a cozy fit, but plenty of red bar stools and five high tables offer ample seating and views of the four TVs, each one tuned to a separate station. Above the long bar, 50 clear mugs hang in columns -- a nice modern touch.
The Draw
This quintessential neighborhood watering hole offers something every night, from Monday's dart tourney to Tuesday's pub quiz to Thursday's ladies night. World class cocktails include a list of specialty "Elixir" shots (such as Amaretto mixed with Baileys Irish Cream). You'll also find a wide-selection of American and hard-to-find European brews, such as Spaten Pils and Leffe Ales, on draft and in bottles. The daily happy hour from 3-8pm packs 'em in, and Mission bar hoppers fill up the joint on weekends.

This is a nice neighborhood bar that is good for a drink during the day. At night it can get crowded and loud. The prices are ok. Sometimes the bartenders can be unprofessional, but not usually. They attract a sports crowd, which is really a turn-off for me. The bar is nice inside and it's clean. There are also a few table you can sit at.
Pros: clean, nice decor, good for daytime or happy hour
Cons: sports-oriented, can get loud and crowded at night or for sports

Honest and hospitable staff, played a round or two of a dice game called "fours", excellent game, and had thee best damn bloody mary ever and I've had my share. Would have stayed all day but had to head out, it's an excellent place!
