The place to come if you want your fill of sushi. Masu's all you can eat sushi for 12.50 is perfect for when you're ravished and craving rolls and teriyaki galore. The rolls are fresh and there is a large selection to choose from, and the teriyaki salmon is my favorite non-sushi item to order. Tempura is crispy as well. It's especially fun to come with a group of friends here and share any of the all-you-can eat items.

FAVE SUSHI PLACE!. me and my boyfriend absolutely love this place! it is our favorite sushi place, hands down. you can order rolls that come with soup & salad - and you always get dessert! The sushi is delicious - we've never had a bad experience there and always refer to our friends and family.

BEST SUSHI. THEY HAVE THE FRESHEST SUSHI EVER AND THEY HAVE ALL YOU CAN EAT FOR $12.50 PER PERSON FROM 11AM-3...ONCE YOU GIVE THEM A TRY YOU'LL CRAVE THERE SUSHI!

tHE SERVICE IS OKAY THEY NEED MORE SERVERS....AND STILL THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE!

Good Sushi place in a town full of them. I love Masu. In downtown San Mateo Sushi is easy to find, but this place is my favorite. They can be slightly pricier than others, but the special rolls are very invetive and the nigiri is great. The decor is nice and it's usually quiet, but not lonely. Service is occasionally a bit confused but that's my only complaint.

Nice gem. Amidst all the Japanese restaurants in San Mateo, Masu stands out due to its relatively nicer decor and big screen tv. They have good priced bento boxes serving 3 items for $12. The portions aren't huge, but well worth the price. You can also order two or three orders of sushi rolls for $13-$19, an innovative menu offering other than just teriyakis and assortments of sushi. Good service, good ambiance, cute waitress ;-), combined with the complimentary appetizer and dessert makes this place a keeper.
