Indoor track with high-horsepower racing karts and three road courses offers practice sessions, group contests and a weekly racing league.. With the largest indoor go-kart track in the US and considered by hardcore karters to be one of the best-designed courses in the country, this isn't some kids-birthday destination. Everything from lap-times to your kart's RPMs are recorded in real-time and projected on the walls near the straightaways (you have about a half of a second to check your ranking before the next hairpin turn), and most drivers compete intensely for after-race bragging rights. Even 15 minutes of driving is a serious workout, leaving racers drenched with sweat inside their flame-retardant suits, helmets and neck braces, although despite the precautions--and the huge adrenaline rush--this sport is actually quite safe.
