This unique little second-floor spa in a renovated Victorian offers sunless tanning services with an emphasis on private attention, health and satisfaction. Two comfortable, carpeted massage and skin treatment rooms and a small, ultramodern, infrared dry sauna complete the layout. Clients are meant to leave refreshed and ready for an evening out. I've tried almost everything there. Facials, massage, sauna. The Organic Facial is to die for and the infrared sauna is just a phenomenal way to detox in 30 minutes. The receptionists are also very sweet and genuinely warm. There's one young gal who's great at making sure I'm hydrated before and after my treatments. It's just an intimate setting that makes me feel right at home and oozes old San Francisco charm. It's not an opulent place, but for the size of the space they've made it cozy and aesthetically pleasing for an afternoon of pampering. Low key is the word. I have to add that I went in last week for a massage and walked out and couldn't remember where I parked. The masseuse was that good. I wish I had asked for the gal's name, but this is my third massage there and everyone has been great thus far. This place cheers me up.

Hit this spa whenever I'm in San Francisco. Worth every penny. Wish I could bottle the feeling I get when I'm done. Parking is a little tough, but I would walk a mile to go here. Wish they would open one in Oregon.

My boyfriend had scheduled this couples massage for me for my birthday. We first spent about half an hour in the sauna. I have to say that the sauna is the best thing ever. I like to work out alot and this infrared sauna really loosend up my muscles and got us really ready for the massage. It also takes out all the horrible toxins in our bodies. We opted out of taking the shower and went straight into the massage room. We did a 75 minute deep tissue massage and I really fell into this relaxation state! My boyfriend must have also enjoyed it because I could hear him almost snoring! Between the sauna and the massages this is definately the best place to go. Before we floated out of there we made another appointment in the following month!
