Worst service and unreliable, not so good food. me and my fiance had put down some deposit down for a banquet. Andy, the manager, said that if we enter into the contract, there would be no cash refund but instead a credit of the amount deposited. When we cancelled the banquet, no credit was given, nothing what-so-ever! No banquet was held.

While we were there for tea house, services were terrible. The foods weren't all that great for the price, carts were coming out slow, waiting for your order was long, and waiters were rude!!! Never going back again!!!

Deceitful cheats out to swindle you out of as much money as possible. 0 stars. To be honest, I wish the owner and all their employees would have a very bad luck Chinese New Years and drop dead. These people are crooks and cheats. They would cheat their own fellow asian customers out of every penny possible. They make asians look bad. Again proof that most people are not good people and just greedy selfish bastards, that would stab their own mother in the back for money.

Went to dinner here for Chinese New Years, and we ordered fish, but the waiter tried to talk us into changing the fish into another type of fish, because they claim this fish is fresh and the other is not. So I said OK fine. Next thing I know, they charge $50 for the fish, for what I thought was supposed to be $25 on the menu. Then they asked if I wanted dessert, and I said no, but they gave me red bean dessert anyways and charged for it. Lastly, they put the tip on themselves for a dinner of 2 peoples This was such BS...$20 tip. They might as well just charge me $100 for the fish and put $1000 tip for themselves...bunch of greedy asians screwing over their own brother, sister, and brethren. Plus the food was mediocre at that. Total bill for 2 was $150...so not worth it. Could've gone to a fine dining establishment and been a lot more satisfied for the same price or less. I complained to the manager a little and he was not accommodating at all.

Never going here again. Boycott this restaurant, these people are not good people and don't deserve to be prosperous. Bad people, bad karma....bad luck.

Nice Place for Dim Sum in Millbrae. Has a lot of nice touches for a chinese restaurant. Banquet room is fitted for large parties like weddings and celebrations. Nice lighting and good flow. You don't feel crowded or rushed. Very good food, good selection of dim sum plus other specialties not normally seen. Has an easy way to order using menu slips. Wait Staff is fluent in English to help non-chinese speakers. Good location parking wise. Has enough 4 person tables to accomodate small parties. We got there at noon on a saturday and was sitted promptly. That's a rare thing in a good dim sum house.

Great place for dim sum. This is a great place for dim-sum. I like their foie gras & shark fin pork siu-mai, Zens roast pork with peanut sauce (the most tender barbecue pork ever), the sweet dessert Crispy fried egg mochi, and the Turnip & Chinese donut rice crepes. The Zen's tarts dish (weekend only) is also very special; it's the best custard tart that Ive ever had. Everything was very tasty. I think you can't go wrong with anything you ordered at this place.

Great Food & Service. Just wen to dinner at Zen Peninsula tonight. My firend's realtive recommendaed to her and we decided to try it.

The place was busy but we were seated right away. They were quick to take our order & serve the food. There were eight of us so we sat in a large tables and took our time. They checked on us regually but never hurried us. We ordered the Fresh carb meat over greens and it was great. It was real crab meat and the vegetable was really fresh. We also ordered the Pan Fried pi-pa tofu and it came hot, crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the insde. We love it. We also ordered 2 clay pots. Braised beef & eggplant with garlic sauce. It was yummy. We will definitely do it again the next time we are in the area.

Nice Surprise. Wow, what a place. This was recommended to me by one of my friends. I stopped by to have dim sum at lunch time and it was great. I work nearby so this is now one of my favorite places. The variety is impressive and I didnt have to wait. I have to come back during the weekend and checkout the crowd.

Excellent abalone!. Oma abalone. I had many different type of abalone before, fresh one, dry one, in sashimi. Zen peninsula had this one on special in oyster sauce. Most of the abalone I had are usually hard to chew and not enough taste in the center, but this oen is so soft and the best thing is that it's sweet inside, incrediable!!! Great value, and great taste, if you want to go luxury, their sharkfin soup or bird nest are great too. I also ordered some basic cantonese style dishes and they are better than I expected. One thing I don't like is that they have only like 50 or so parking in their lot, weekend is too crowded but luckily it's easy to find street parking. The manager said they are looking into valet for weekends.

Great Chinese food. This is a new restaurant in Millbrae. It serves Hong Kong style chinese/cantonese food. Great place for both dim sum and dinner. On weekdays, they steam the dim sum per your order. This is different from a typical chinese restaurant in bay area. Great Seafood selection, bar. Food was excellent and with a great touch of modern style.
