Cute neighborhood sushi place!. It's a cute place from the minute you walk in to the minute you are seated. It's loungie, without overdoing it. You can tell some thought went into the decor but it still has that neighborhood feel about it.

Even if you're not a sushi fan, like my husband, he still managed to find things to eat like beef terriyaki, seaweed salad, miso soup, and crab rangoon (ok, but anything fried and with cream cheese can't be horrible). And there were things he wanted to try but didn't like, the Japanese version of pizza, look at the menu to see, it had the oddest but most intriguing things on there........tempura, and a ton of other non sushi items.

Sushi wise there were some really creative rolls and they were all delicious and presented nicely. Service was pretty fast and overall it was a good experience.

Best Ever. Who knew you could have sushi delivered and it actually tastes fresh. I was skeptical but not anymore. The employees are polite and right on and they are superfast in the delivery. This is not on par with a place like KOO or Tenichi- and the bill reflects that (much cheaper!!) But there are times to splurge and times to just get some good sushi delivered.

I think the unhappy writers had some personal issue with the place- as the food and service is really good (and I know good sushi)..

Not Recommended!. Food is sub-par. Could not even finish the food it was so bad.....Toro was fishy....note: Toro is supposed to be like eating a wonderful piece of fish that melts in your mouth...not like you just pulled a sardine out of a fish salty can! Absolutely disappointed with the restaurant...$50.00 for 2 people ...for the quality it was overpriced and such a waste! The only thing that was good was the white tuna sushi, so out of the 6 things we ordered only one thing (2 pieces were good)...not a good ratio! The worst thing is paying for something that you can't even eat! NOT RECOMMENDED! If you want good sushi go to SUSHI BISTRO or OZUMO, don't waste your time or money here....

Yuck!. I should have known better than to have sushi delivered, but I was craving it so badly and no one was around to go to dinner with me...so, I decided to order from the menu that had been so artfully attached to our front door. I had high hopes, but I was seriously disappointed. Though the service was friendly (both on the phone and the delivery person), the sushi wasn't very fresh and I felt like the rolls really didn't match the descriptions in the menu. Moral of the story...don't have sushi delivered.

Excellent Sushi, great service. UPDATE: THIS PLACE CONTINUES TO ROCK ON THE SUSHI. i DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THESE PEOPLE'S MEALS BUT WE HAVE HAD THE BEST FOOD CONSISTENTLY . WE EVEN TRIED THE PIZZA AND WAS SURPRISED THAT IT WAS EVEN REALLY GOOD. WHO KNEW? WE EAT OUT AND ORDER OUT ABOUT 4 TO 5 TIMES A WEEK AND THIS IS ONE OF OUR MAINSTAYS./ Haven't even been in this place yet- but have ordered delivery at least ten times already. (Someone put a menu on our door) Absolutely excellent every time (and we know good sushi). Try the romeo and juliette roll. The sushi pieces are good size and extremely fresh. They understand you when you call and order and deliver promptly. Oh and the asari sake mushi soup is FANATSTIC- it's a brothy soup with clams in it. My husband is a fan of the gyoza. Oh and they have pizza too (?!) but we have never tried it.

AWESOME. I have never had a bad dish here. I have been there about 15 times and it is always so delicious. Their fish is always very fresh and the chef is very creative. The Volcano Roll, Cherry Blossom Roll, and Spicy Crunchy Maki are my favorite rolls but everything is delicious. Whats even better is that they deliver. How often can you get delivery from a fancy sushi restaurant? I highly recomend this gem especially before the masses find it and crowd it up.

Worth the drive from LA. I commute from LA to SF for one week each month and I'm lucky enough to stay just around the block from Blue Fin. I love this place. Consistently great food, friendly and efficient service, a wonderful place to tuck in with a book or to dine with friends. **Update 3/25 -- this past week I've gone in twice, and both times they had gone back to their original musical theme, Hawai'ian rather than techno, which makes for a more relaxing experience. Thanks, Blue Fin. :) **

Wow.... Their service is amazing. Waitresses are attentive to your every need. They come by the table often so you never have to raise your hand to get service. Their food is awesome and inventive. Have you tried their Kaki Shot... if not, try it. It's an experience worth having. Overall atmosphere of this place is outstanding.

Love this Place. I can't believe it's been so long since I've written another review. By far, still my favorite Japanese Restaurant in the city. Since my last post, I have probably come here ~10 times. Still love the Unagi fried rice! A bit oily.. but just drink the hot sake to break it down. The ceviche is awesome! If you like lamb, yummm... =)

oH! Try the spicy crunchy roll!

Sashimi is always fresh!

It seems like the menu gets bigger and bigger each time I return. But everything is REALLY good. Actually, except for the chicken karaage.. unless you like really salty chicken drumettes.

Did I mention there is free parking? You just have to go the front and ask them where the parking lot is.. it's better than driving around for 15 minutes. When I'm there, I want to walk in and get my grub on.

They have great loungy music which I like to listen to when I eat. It's like candy for my ears while I get good food in my tummy. Until next time... try this place!
