Great food and fun experience. It's fun to try something other than Italian food in North Beach and Mangarosa turnede out to be the perfect spot for something fun and different. Food was awesome....absolutely recommend the Brazilian specialties like the cheese bread, Brazilian steak (you finish cooking it at your table) and yucca. Service was great and the ambiance was perfect. Took my sister there visiting from Texas and it was a perfect and unique experience. Live around the corner and will certainly be visiting again soon! Don't miss dessert!

Nice staff doesn't equate good service. The food was enjoyable and the staff was very friendly - however, it appeared to be their first time running a restaraunt. *The servers would disappear for long periods of time - never keeping wine or water glasses full. *The servers brought out the meals, while our table was still enjoying our appetizers, and then picked up the appetizer plates and removed them from the table. *Our check was brought towards the end of dinner without asking if we would like coffee or desert - but stating to track her down if we wanted something else. *We had to go get our own desert menu. *Portion sizes were very inconsistent. As long as you can handle inconsistent, poor - but friendly service - its a good spot to try.
