Editorial Review for Mosaic – by Florence Byrd
In Short
You'd never know this place was in the heart of Buckhead: Its chic, pared-down decor, laissez-faire vibe and charming patio contrast sharply with the over-the-top glitz of the Buckhead strip. Seafood figures prominently on the menu, which highlights the cuisines of the Mediterranean. A beautiful tile-topped bar anchors the restaurant, with airy dining rooms on either side. In warm weather, the tree-shaded patio offers prime real estate for getting-to-know-you dates and girls-night-out gatherings.

SO CUTE!! I was actually looking for another place on the same street and it wasn't there and I found this place. All though it wasn't very busy it made for a very plesant Sunday brunch for my friends and I! We sat outside where the owner and it looked to be his wife were taking care of the landscape. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing you decide but, it did not bother us at all. Actually you could tell they put alot of time and take alot of pride in this place! The owner was actually the one who sereved us our food and checked on us as well. Our server was good too! The french toast and shrimp and grits were great! I liked the shrimp and grits here better than Bricktops! Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it for sure especially for Sunday mamosas. I can't wait to go back when the leaves start to change colors!!
Pros: Parking, outdoor patio, location, FOOD

What a find off the beaten path! My husband and I were staying at a 4 star hotel downtown and mentioned to our driver we had read a nice review on Mosaics. The driver commented he had met the new owner and also recommended the restaurant. Quite a cozy candlelit atmosphere! The entire staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and wine pairing. We met chef Darryl because we so enjoyed the night's appetizer - spicy tuna sushi and the main courses of lobster ravioli and his trout dish. It was so nice to have a personal touch and service with a smile! Definitely returning for the Sunday Brunch everyone is talking about.
Pros: atmosphere, parking, attentive service
Cons: not open for lunch on Saturday
