In Short – Owner and esthetician Kimberly Jones' loyal following comes to her studio for much more than just eyebrows, even if shaping unruly brows is her specialty. Customized facials, makeup applications and more skin-care treatments prove popular with the 20- and 30-something professionals who frequent this Pacific Heights beauty standby. Have some tea and sweets while you wait for your appointment in a petite but brightly colored waiting room with comfortable couches for lounging.
Great place for those new to the eyebrow experience
by revolvez
I've had about 5 or 6 visits with Kimberly and I've always come away pleased. I was totally new to the idea of having groomed eyebrows and she has transformed me into a total believer! Her style is to not go to far with a look until you are really comfortable with it. I think dramatic results are always apparent from visit to visit, but it may take a couple of visits to get where your going. I really appreciate this approach and her easy going style. I've seen her care for all ages and looks so I wouldn't describe her place as particularly trendy, just popular. I hear she'll have a new and bigger location just a few doors away. I think this will help her to accommodate more appointments and offer other services. Oh, and I recommend an eyelash tint for those who need longer or darker lashes.... don't we all..
Nothing to write home about

I had my eyebrows done by Kimberley twice. The first time, I liked what she did because she gave my eyebrows a nice shape and gave them a cleaner look. However, that was a while ago and since then, she has gotten very popular and busy...which unfortunately has changed her for the worse. This last time that I saw her, she was rather snooty and made me understand that she didn't really care for the "little clients". On top of that, she did a HORRIBLE job on my eyebrows. One side is now shorter than the other and I had to pluck off a few strays that she left behind when I took a closer look at them at home. It's really too bad that she has become a machine at doing eyebrows and no longer the artist who once paid attention to her work!
- Pros: she used to be an artist
- Cons: Sloppy fast job
Travel from the East Bay and well worth it!

I have been seing Kimberly for more than 7 years and am a true "eyebrows to die for" fan. I started out just getting my brows shaped but have moved on to the lash perm and tint - a service everyone must experience! It's a bit strange but the results are fantastic and you end up looking like you have curled, dark lashes when you wake up in the morning - priceless! I travel out from the East Bay to see Kimberly and it's well worth the trip. I won't see anyone else!!
