In Short – The only vegetarian restaurant within city limits that specializes in Indian cuisine, this small, mom-and-pop eatery fills the niche with ease. A loyal crowd of neighborhood herbivores sits at white-clothed tables in a sparsely decorated dining room and nosh on wildly popular samosas, fresh chai and curries; an assortment of vegan desserts and house-made yogurts are also available. The very hands-on proprietor is quick to offer recommendations and point out that all dishes use fresh ingredients.

Best Indian Food

The New Ganges serves fresh and tasty Indian food. Although a vegetarian restaurant, anyone would enjoy the food here, as the quality is much better than your typical Indian fare. There is an interesting and varied menu. The appetizers and dishes were expertly prepared and served with pride. The location is an ideal stop if you are taking a drive to or from the beach area.

Honestly the best Indian food I have ever tasted! I've never had such a pleasant eating experience due to the fabulous man who heads the place. He gives a fun an unique experience to dining. Everything tasted so fresh and fantastic. The Samosas and Rasmali (sp?) were breathtaking!

This is a hole in the wall in middle of nowhere. My experience left me seriously underwhelmed. If you do end up here, keep your expectations low
