User Reviews for Argonaut Hotel

I stayed here in a room overlooking the bay with a wonderful king sized bed. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had a nautical theme that I found kind of cute, though unimportant. The over all customer service experience was most excellent and the adjacent restaurant has tasty, good food that's well prepared...especially the breakfast. I loved the omelets, as well as their lunch time seafood offerings. Be aware that this hotel is, more or less, RIGHT in the whole Fisherman Wharf tourist trap mess and there are lots of people as you open the door into and out of the hotel (which was kind of irritating). However, its great location takes you to all the bay destinations in a real hurry. I could even see the Golden Gate Bridge at all times! Now, that's cool. If you don't mind the crowds, then stay here. They are owned by the Klimpton Group and, like their other hotels, is a class operation.
Pros: Customer Service; Location; Clean Rooms.
Cons: Crowds of tourists JUST outside the hotel entrance.
