What People Are Saying About PSOAS Massage + Bodywork

In Short – Massage therapists specialize in therapeutic massage and bodywork, including thai treatments. Clients are just as often athletes on the mend as overworked locals looking for a splurge. Four treatment rooms are decorated in soothing blue and beige tones, with pieces from local artists adorning the walls. Mellow tunes, everything from Thievery Corporation to jazz, pipe over the speakers, setting the stage for customized massages that address each client's individual needs.
Editor's Tips
- Massage:
- Staff specialize in a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal, sports, reflexology, trigger point, craniosacral, myofascial, and orthopedic; couples massages are also offered.
- Save Money:
- Inquire about a package of treatments for a lower rate.
- Parking:
- With an easily accessible, central SOMA location, this studio also offers free, on-site parking in the St. Francis Place garage.
- Know Before You Go:
- Same-day appointments are available, but make sure to call first.
- The Extras:
- Ask about discounted rates on corporate massages--therapists will bring a portable massage table right to your office for individual or group treatment.

BEST MASSAGE I'VE EVER HAD
by carlybean at Citysearch
Best massages I've ever had - let alone in San Francisco. The people that work here are exceptional human beings and make customer service a key reason why so many people keep coming back. They gave my company a great corporate discount and I was instantly hooked - I've also referred numerous people and even handed out their business cards. The practitioners are very educated and they are great listeners - with their ears and their hands! Don't miss out on such a wonderful place! I highly recommend seeing Rodney - he's incredible at what he does! Tim also comes highly recommended by coworkers and friends. Enjoy!
- Pros: Service, Quality of Massage, Instant Results / Healing from Massage, Well-Educated Practitions, Parking
- Cons: None
This place is the best!!!
by jkjenny at Citysearch
I love this place! The staff know how to fix every ache and pain. I often go here after I have tweaked something at acrobat class and any pain magically goes away! The staff is all wonderful and very comfortable to work with.
- Pros: Awesome, knowledgeable staff
- Cons: none!
Psoas is the Best!!
by zinck547 at Citysearch
Psoas gives the best massage I have ever had anywhere and I've had quick a few. The owners of Psoas are professional, highly skilled and passionate about their work. They are also very friendly. I have been going to Psaos 3 -4 times a month for almost a year. Jenny was able to loosen my frozen shoulder and give me pain free movement for the first time in 15 years. I highly recommend Psoas every chance I get. They are the best - hands down!!
- Pros: Always on time, professional, great atmosphere (not a day spa, but a serious bodywork facilitiy), friendly, best massage anywhere
- Cons: None
Best massage for musicians or any serious movers
by ninajosmith at Citysearch
Scott and Tim are both musicians, so they "get it." I recently started working with Tim, who is unraveling some decades-old injuries. As a result, I'm more fit to play every day.

- Pros: Knowledge, skill, results
- Cons: NA
