Authentic Thai Food!. I having been living in the neighborhood for over 28 years...and since Marnee Thai opened, I have been a loyal customer. Being Thai myself, I can say that the Thai food is authentic. It's as flavorful and delicious as it is back home. The herbs and spices are fresh and sauces for the various dishes are exceptional. I love the setting--it is cozy and beautifully decorated.The papaya salad and angel wings are soooo good! I highly recommend Marnee Thai to individuals, couples, and families.

Best thai food in the city!. Great for take-out or dining in. Be sure to try the angel wings. Or if you're more adventurous, the banana blossom salad.

Solid, but standard.... I'm curious about the excellent ratings. It's entirely possible I'm not getting the right dishes. The lemongrass/coconut milk soup is unparalleled, but the curries seem a bit less fragrant and complex than some other local places, and the Pad Thai I had last week seemed like noodles sauteed with sweet & sour sauce. My girlfriend thought it was good b/c it was bland and easy on her sick stomach that day. I've only tried the 9th Ave place, and only a few times. I keep getting disappointed. If you're coming from out of town, I agree that this is good, flavorful food. But for local Thai, it's average at best. Better options in the Haight or even nearby.

delicious and exotic Thai cuisine. The service is very friendly, the decor is very exotic, and the food is absolutely delicious. I've been coming here since i was a child, and the food has even improved since then. The best thai cuisine in San Francisco period.

Best Thai Resturant. All i can tell you is everytime my family go to San Francisco we have to go to Marnee Thai for thai food. At least 2 to 3 times for three days trip. Either at the one on Irving St. or the one on 9th Ave.

BEST FOOD IN SF. "WOW!!! I really LOVE this place right here!!! I just went there on saturday and sunday with my family for my cousin GRADUATION!!!!!! I'll give this a FIVE STAR RESTURANT!!!"

The best Thai food ever!!!!. Marnee Thai is the best Thai restaurant in the city. The food is very delicious and authentic. I am from Thailand so I know what the real Thai food is. I strongly recommend this place for Thai food lovers. The ambiance is very nice and clean, the service is quick and friendly. They offer several ancient dishes that you hardly find at any other Thai restaurants. I am not surprised that they won competitions both in Los Angeles and in Thailand and for the long list of awards that they have received. This is a must try restaurant!!! They also have banquet room for private party.
