In Short – Tucked in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it alley near Union Square, this French bistro glows with candlelight even in the middle of the day. The welcoming, but slightly buttoned-up atmosphere makes this a popular spot for power lunches, a glass of wine between stops at the many high-end stores nearby or a romantic tête-à-tête. Classic dishes like duck confit and a petit filet accompany a rotating menu of daily specials, as well as a selection of soups and salads.
Service WITHOUT a smile

I asked the server if I could order a side of prawns instead of the prawn dinner since I wasnt super hungry and if it would be the same price. She said the price would be less. She returns in 5 minutes and says the chef will not charge less and would i like to order something else. Yes. She goes for a menu, but returns empty handed as now the chef says its too late to change. Paid $17.00 for 4 shrimp. The chef should have reduced the price of my order since I was told it would be less and they won't let me switch the order. You'd expect better service from a new restaurant, especially to 5 people who work across the street. Too many other cute cafe's around with better service and just as good of food.
