Arguably the best breakfast/brunch in Menlo Park. Awesome bread-and-butter menu for brunch. The problem is that it's always mobbed, so tough to wait if you have kids.
Never got past the host. This is not a review of the food. We were a party of 5 + 1 infant who waited outside for our table to be called. When our table was called, not all of us were immediately on site as some were visiting a neighboring store. The host refused to seat those of us who were on site and instead passed up our table. I found it outrageous that the host would not seat us because we weren't all within his eyesight. We would have waited for the next table except for the host's unapologetic attitude on this out of the blue policy. Obviously they did not want our business. Instead, we went across the street to Cafe Barrone, where the atmosphere is always welcoming.
Good Food, Good Service. Like many popular places with good service and good food, the wait can be long but is definitely worth it. The servers are friendly and accomodating. The dishes are huge but good sized for a brunch.
Best Breakfast Place in Town.. This place has the best breakfast ever. Although the waiting time is terrible the food is worth the wait. Have to try the Pancakes.
Definitely worth the wait. Brunch times can get crowded and you may have to wait, but it's worth it! One of the best brunches I've had in a long time- the pancakes here are to die for! The service is great- very fast and friendly, even during busy hours. A great place for brunch to catch up with old friends!
best breakfast i've had in a long time. i had breakfast here a month ago and it was awesome. the variety on the menu is mind-boggling it mustve taken me at least 20 minutes to decide what to get. in the end, i settled on the sausage skillet (~$8.00) served with eggs, potatoes, chicken apple sausage, and a buttered bagel. the chicken apple sausage was very good not too oily and spiced perfectly. i also split the chocolate divine belgian waffle with some friends. it was stuffed with chocolate and topped with whipped cream whats there not to love? my friends all ordered different things like the frittatas, omelettes, and pancakes and everyone was extremely satisfied. the fruit-filled pancakes tasted especially good (and single pancakes are available as sides). service was pretty good and we got coffee refills when we wanted them. i left stuffed and very happy.
Editorial Review. Breakfast food including omelettes, crepes, pancakes, waffles and more, plus lunch items such as hamburgers, sandwiches, salads and smoothies.
