In Short – Tucked on a side street at the crossroads of the Financial District and Chinatown, this bar mirrors the junction at which it sits. Chinese hipsters settle in on plush red couches and beanbags, carrying on jovial games of Chinese dice. Meanwhile, attractive Westerners mingle around the blue-lit bar and turntables where DJs spin house and hip-hop. Casual touches like a combination Ms. Pac Man-Galaga video game and baskets of Pringles keep the atmosphere chill.

after asking for recommendations to chill out at without all the trendiness that the other bigger places have around town and just having moved here, my co-workers took to me EZ5. wow, i was impressed with the drinks, the chill loungy feel, and the cool trance and progressive tracks being thrown out by the DJ.
heard from the bartender they grabbed a couple of popular underground trance DJs. if i heard right, they should be starting to spin at monday nights starting in june.
- Pros: DJs, Drinks, Not Crowded---a secret hideaway without the heavy prices
- Cons: wish it were a bigger lounge
good potential

A friend and I visited this place on a Wednesday after work for happy hour. It's a very cool atmosphere with great couches to lounge on and talk. The place was totally empty, which was fine for us because we weren't looking to socialize with others but if you're looking to meet people this wouldn't be the place to come. We also had read about a great happy hour appetizers they had and were a little disappointed because all they had when we went were pretzels and cheese... far from the "full spread" we'd read about. But it was fun, and the service was nice. The location is great for the financial district as well so we'll definitely be returning.
- Pros: location, couches, atmosphere
- Cons: empty... but not sure that's a con?
Best Kept Secret in San Francisco
by cmichaelthomas
I've been going to this little bar for about 3 years now, and I can tell you it just keeps getting better. The staff is always great and the owners are among the kindest people I know. Between the all of that, and the drink specials, their special drinks, the awesome happy snack spread, the best chicken wings in San Francisco right across the street, and their DJs -- where else do you really need to go? Nowhere. Thats where. Nowhere.
- Pros: Awesome Ambiance and Service
- Cons: It closes at 2am
