I used to really like this place, my daughter introduced me to this place, udon was nice, chewy, but not soggy. Tempura is nice, but the service and the host/hostess ruined my take on the restaurant. I came in with two persons total of 3 people, early so there were an abundance of tables to choose. Hostess want to seat us at a table next to the tree, we asked for a different table as one of the person was on the larger side, and it would be squashed. But she insisted. Of course, as soon as we sat down, another party of three came in and she sat them at the table we requested. Needless to say, we got up and I have never gone back. Sad.
Great sushi, fast service, friendly staff – I often stop by Mikado after working out (24-Hour Fitness is right across the street) for their happy hour (half off drinks, selected rolls for $2 and appetizers for $3) and I have yet to be disappointed. The happy hour deals are fantastic and the food is delicious, particularly the ebi kabob-type appetizer. I always feel welcome and never rushed by the staff. Easy to get to on the 27 bus line, too.
Great sushi – We live literally a few blocks away so I am a little biased, but the sushi is truly to die for!
The sushi is pretty good too. I also like the decorations inside. It's super cool.
also this is one of the place that I love to go coz of the fast service...

Try the "Half moon bay" special role that is not on the menu but one of the best
Best delivery sushi-sashimi I've found. Fast and fresh. – I recently became handicapped and am no longer able to go out exploring restaurants, so I've had to rely on delivery services to get a lot of meals I would have eaten out, There aren't very many sushi places that deliver. and I'm kind of picky about where I eat my raw fish. I like to see it. It was with some trepidation that I placed my first sushi delivery order with Mikado . I was delighted with the sushi, very fresh, I could tell it had just been made, and the sashimi tasted like the fish had just been caught , moist , tender ,delish! I've tried a few other sushi deliveries but none come close to Mikado, Someone mentioned that Mikado is hidden, and this must be the case as I've been by the corner of 16th and Bryant several times and have yet to see where it is. If you don't want to or can't go out for your sushi, Mikado is a great choice for delivery,
best fish I ever tried – Really great food! warm and nice. Not too crouded. I've been here few times and will come back again! Their food is worth to drive so far!
OVercharged & refused to refund – I ordered food for pick up and the bill was $20.55 which I paid with a card. $24.66 was then charged to my card (I presume they added a tip for themselves despite the fact that it was a pick-up) and they informed me that they didn't have time to work it out with me. I even brought the receipt to them and was told they were too busy to deal with it and that i would have to come back to work it out. I find their request that I further inconvenience myself despite the fact that they stole from me to be upsetting. The food is ok. My salmon had been sitting out a little (it had darkened and started to dry) but it tasted fine.
great service – this is the place to go.
lovely staffs great sushi fresh and creative i loved it
there is nothing else to say
you have to try it yourself
