Love this pizza!. I am a fan of Arinell's pizza in the Mission but when my boyfriend brought me here, this place is now my fave! The difference b/t Arinell's and Speederia is the foldover. No greasy puddles of oil with the Speederia slices folded over.

Plus, for $5 bucks you get two slices (Tomato Basil is my fave) and a refillable soda. This isn't just 'value' but good, quality pizza. Thin crust, simple ingredients, no fuss.

Tables do turn over quickly, so don't panic if you see a line and crowded tables.

Recommended by a New Yorker. My boss, a born and bred New Yorker, recommended this place to me. After living in the NYC area for two years, I have to say this place is better than 99% of the pizzarias I went to. Highly recommended by both a native New Yorker and someone who grew up in the Bay Area.

This is the real deal!. SPEEDERIA PIZZERIA is outstanding! This is REAL New York Style thin-crust pizza, and, they sell it by the slice! They have 9 different pizzas in a display case to choose from. They reheat them for you in small deck oven and have them ready in second...real fast. I guess that's why they call it SPEEDERIA PIZZERIA! They have an awesome deal called the "SPEEDERIA SPECIAL"-any 2 slices and a drink for $5.00 (tax incl. and free refills on the soda). The pizza is great and the service is fast! I don't know how they do it for so little.
