Park Adventure #2. Just another one of those breath taking spots in the city! I haven't actually gone inside the Legion of Honor, but exploring the park, statues, and looks out spots around it is enough to fill your day. This is a great spot to look out onto the Golden Gate Bridge. You can play golf, bike along the paths, and relax by the fountain or many statues within the grassy field. The actual Legion of Honor is a beautiful structure with a magnificent statue of the Thinking Man as you enter. It's the perfect spot to visit on a warm sunny afternoon.

Most Beautiful Muesum in San Francisco. Legion of Honor is such a beautiful museum inside and out. I almost felt like I was in some European country. It certainly isn't quite the Louvre but the collection is still impressive. They have mostly European paintings, statues and some ancient art.

Take your date here on a sunny day and stroll through the gallery. Watch the sunset at the park outside afterward and finish the day with a nice romantic dinner in the city. It doesn't get better than this, does it?

Parking could get difficult on the weekend so plan to come here early.
