I'm so sad it was bad.
It saddens me to give this place one star. If it weren't for the late night stomach cramps it definitely would have been higher.
When I was first looking for a place to live in San Francisco I checked out a spot right next to this taqueria. It smelled delish and I've thought of it ever since. It was finally time to go on a mission and find this heaven for my nose. There was a line out the door and everyone seemed to know exactly what they wanted: a SUPER burrito! Of course I followed the pack and got a super burrito as well. This custom burrito was packed to the brim with carnitas, beans, rice, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico, and hot sauce. I could only finish half of the head sized burrito and I wrapped up the rest to save for later. As we walked out I told the cook it was so I good! I'll be back!
I wont go into details, but later that night I decided I would NOT be going back, and I sadly threw away the other half of the burrito.
If you have a cast iron stomach (which it seems everyone in that long line did) Chino's is the place to go for a big ass burrito!

This bare-bones taqueria serves up shockingly Mission-like Mexican fare in a neighborhood more known for its Asian cuisine..
It may not look like much--and in the Mission, surrounded by other similarly tasty taquerias, it certainly wouldn't be--but this little eatery in the very Outer Richmond has been a neighborhood favorite for more than 15 years, and there is usually a line to prove it. The regulars are mostly folks that live nearby, but parking's easy for those who drive from the Sunset (another markedly Mexican foodless dining scene) to pick up one of the hefty burritos. Choose from a simple menu that includes just the basics--tacos, burritos, nachos or dinner plates--marked on a board over the cash register and spend the extra buck or so to get your carnitas, chile verde or spicy chicken topped with sour cream and creamy guacamole. You'll notice most people get their food to-go, and there's good reason: the dining room is cold, silent and doubles as a storage space for the kitchen's boxes of corn oil and bags of rice; the grub is much tastier when eaten in the comfort of your own living room.

The "I told you so." is in order.
I grew up going to Gordo's with my buddies. We have argued for years they had the best, not the biggest, but the best burritos in town. The kids who grew up in the outer Richmond always bragged about some place called Chino's and how it kicked our burrito. After many years I went with a Gordo loving buddy to check it out. God damn. It was fantastic. My buddy summed it up best, in every bite you get the goodness, the guac, sour cream, salsa. Now I have to re-calculate my burrito tops.

BEST mexi food in sunset.
I'm someone who can live off of burritos and california mexi food.
For the longest time I was on a hunt to find a delicious taqueria that didn't require trucking out to the mission district. I found that place....Chino's. The burritos and tacos are delicious and made with love. The service is friendly and the food is so CHEAP! Perfect for my low budget. I suggest the spicy chicken...it's one of the best i've had in the city.
It's not much of a sit-down-dinner place, but it's the perfect place for quick, hearty, cheap, mexi food.

A TERRIFIC PLACE.
I'm so glad Chino's is in my neighborhood. It's not fancy but it's just perfect for a quick, inexpensive bite. The food is always fresh and the people who work there are very nice. It's a large and very clean establishment, perfect if you have a party..btw they cater. Give them a try!

Chino's has the best burrito I have ever tasted. The chicken is so tender. Excellent guacamole. Laid back atmosphere. Quick and friendly service. Highly recommended for an inexpensive bite.

best burrito in town!.
if you are craving a burrito, this is the place to go anywhere in San Francisco! Morning or night, you'll see the same people making your burrito. They friendly and have a sense of humor! You name it, Chino's has it! Spicy chicken, boiled, grilled, carne asada, carnitas, etc...they can mix it up for you too - just tell them what you like.
get the super burrito!
