Great Fusion Italian Seafood

This restaurant was recommended by many Marin locals that I work with. So I had to try it out. I drove many miles for it and it didn't dissapoint me at all. Very nice fusion of contemporary Italian seafood style. We had a chance to speak to the chef and he made many great recommendations. I enjoyed it and wouldn't mind making another long trip to Marin to eat here again. Banana foster for dessert is a must! Absolutely fabulous.

The chiefs place to eat!!!

I'm like many hungry residents in Marin, I'm always searching for the best food and atmosphere money can buy. I'm always asking around for recommendations. I recently spoke to a friend of mine that works at ILM and he told me of Pronto Pasta in San Rafael. It was strongly recommended to him by a chief in San Fran. He was told it was the Italian restaurant all the local chiefs go to eat. Well that classified as the best recommendation I've ever heard. I've been there 5 times now and the food is always excellent. The atmosphere is quaint with a strong Italian ambiance. The wine selection is very good but the most important is the value. Dinners are very affordable ($10-$18 range).

The location is a bit odd but once inside and have your first taste, you'll think you're in Italy.
