In Short – Housed in a large warehouse with tarnished cement floors and exposed brick walls, this stylish showroom features items ranging from low-slung, Asian-inspired beds and coffee tables to Jetsons-style dining room sets with futuristic appeal. Boxy, L-shaped sofas with streamlined panache are available in a variety of bright colors and more than 600 luxurious fabrics. Room dividers made of embroidered tapestries, mahogany Buddha statues and colorful prints by Andy Warhol and Pieduc round out the collection.

Used to be good service, now just another trendy furniture store
by cvdelros at Citysearch
When I first purchased my loft 4 years ago I purchased all my furniture from iExpress. They had great service, including an interior designer that help plan the whole layout for my space. I was able to get a great price on furniture that I was also able to make many customizations to (fabric, color, size) that you normally couldn't with other places. A year later when a screw on my Barcelona chair broke and fell apart, I brought it in and the owner replaced it on the spot, no questions asked. Unfortunately, the screws on my other Barcelona chair also broke recently and they refused to replace the chair or help me fix it on the grounds that the vendor has a 90 day guarantee. Regardless of what the vendor policy was, they as a decent business should've recognized that they sold poor quality furniture and tried to help fixing it. Seems to me like they've forgotten how to treat their loyal customers, especially those that have made significant purchases and also recommended their store to others. I will no longer go back. I recently made a big purchase from Echo Furniture in Noe Valley and was very impressed by their service. I'll be shopping there for furniture from now on....
LUCKY ME

I bought my sectional at Iexpress 12 years ago. Last month my dog let it all out on the sectional. I went to iexpress and try to get the cushion recover. The sale representative was kind enough to pin point the fabric and help me to replace the cushion at no charge. I have to pay for the shipping which only $60 dollars and I got my cushion back in 2 weeks. Love my sectional again.....

i BOUGHT MY BED AT IEXPRESS ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO. DURING THE MOVE LAST WEEK, THE BED GOT BROKE BY THE MOVER. I CONTACT IEXPRESS FOR REPAIR. THEY WAS WILLING TO FIX THE BED FOR FREE, BUT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING TO HAVE IT FIX. I UNDERSTAND THAT THE BED ALMOST TEN YEARS, BUT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING TO HAVE IT FIX. THIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING HERE ANY MORE.
Ugly selections

I went inside the store and they have the worst selections of furniture. Nobody paid attention to you. The furniture are uncomfortable and cheaply made. The music was to loud. I won't ever buy anything from this company. I rather spend my money at Custom House Furniture. They get the better selections and better price. So... do not shop at Iexpress.
NEVER TRUST iExpress

This is the worst order I have ever experienced and an expensive one at that. They come across very helpful and tell you everything you want to hear until they get your money. Oh yeah...they force you to make a 100% advance payment too. I ordered 10K worth of furniture that on contract was to take 6 weeks. The entire order was not complete for 10 months. Out of 34 conversations with them only 8 of them came from them! Rarely do they call you back and you constantly have to track them down and they use every excuse in the book. Constant broken promises, weak installers (make sure you have tools & hardware & measuring tape for them! It took 1 man 2 hours to install a replacement glass door to a buffet cabinet!). Then, to top it off, the veneer started peeling off of 2 large custom furniture items after only 6-8 months. After calling them, they again gave false promises and I'll be taking full legal action against them. If I hand over my furniture to repair them now, I would only be a fool. They'd have my money & furniture and where would that leave me? There is no trust and or confidence that they will resolve this. BEWARE!!!!! They give salepeople a very bad name! Don't let their nice showroom on 9th & Howard fool you. They are crooks!
- Pros: They will tell you 'what you want to hear'
- Cons: They never hold up to 'what they tell you'
