Tempting Tenderloin Treasure. I love this resturant!!! Everyone who works there is super nice, the first time I went in they even gave me a free dessert. There is a decent vegetarian selection and all the food is excellent. The resturant doesn't look like much, but it is some of the best indian food I've ever had. They also got an excellent health rating. Great Prices!
Best Inidan/Pak Food Outside of London.
hands down the best food from the Indian Sub-Continent I have eaten in the US.
Try the Tandoori Fish and the Lamb Saag and you will not be disapointed.
Some like it hot. If you're into Indian or Pakistani food, this is definitely the place for you. Tough to find, but worth the hunt, Lahore Karahi makes the most fantastic Tandoori fish, and can satisfy nearly any appetite with their other dishes. The service is quick and non-intrusive, and they won't hover over you since the folks (only 1 guy, usually) working there are busy hooking up your tasty grub. They can seat a group of up to about 8-10, FYI. Check it out!
Hands Down Best Indian Food in the State. Best Indian Food I have ever eaten. If you go order the Tandoori Fish for starters and the Goat Curry for your main. Also the Chef/ Owner is a great guy. If you dont know what to order just ask him and you won't be disappointed
Friendly Tenderloin storefront dishes up Pakistani specialties for pennies..
In Short
Diners -- which range from downtown workers looking for a quick lunch to huge families spilling over several tables for a leisurely dinner -- get situated in the tiny, simple dining room for spice-laden, tantalizing entrees served up with warm, welcoming service. The robust menu spans tandooris, biryanis, vindaloos, curries and vegetarian dishes. House-made naan arrives warm and can be ordered plain or stuffed with raisins, nuts, cheese and cherries.
A Hidden Gem. Let me preface this by saying I am a true Indian food snob. People that go to Naan and Curry and Shalimar don't know what the heck they are missing. When the owner was sick I tried some other Tandooriloin hotspots and was sorely disappointed. The owner of this place is also the chef. The food is unreal at ridiculously affordable prices. The chai is superb. Haleem mmmmm. Garlic naan. It's all amazing. The chicken korma is to-die-for. Samosas from heaven. One of my co-workers recently went to India for a month and said she craved Lahore the entire time. The prices are from 1987 or something. Go here.
