BEST BOUTIQUE!. I have been a cusomter of this amazing shop since the day they opened! (and am SO happy they have another location in Burlingame!) I recently went on city search and discovered some of the "not nice" reviews on this store and just want to be the first to clarify this boutique has GREAT cusomter service, my favorite lines (Splendid, Citizens of Humanity, Milly, Trina Turk and others!) i encourage everyone to go experience this gem of a boutique for themselves and make your own judgements! I know you will love it as much as i do!!!
Honest Review A++++!. Fantastic customer support! Amazing selection of clothing! Very friendly staff and I would recommend this terrific find to any of my friends.
A Waste of Time and $$. I was recently shopping in this store and felt compelled to write a review. I love boutique shopping in San Francisco, but this store is exceptionally over priced and the service is horrible! The selection of clothes is the worst of any boutique I have been in -completely unoriginal and ridiculously expensive.
Owner With a Bad Attitude. I had a horrible experience with the owner and would never shop there again. I went into the store after a workout, so of course, I was not looking my personal best. Abigail wouldn't give me the time of day, and when asked about a size, she just gave me a rude stare and said the store didn't carry that size. The whole experience made me think of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when she goes back into the store where they were rude to her, with all her shopping bags in hand and says "Remember me? You wouldn't wait on me? Big mistake. Huge." I am financially well off, as are my friends, so she made some very judgemental asumptions about me. I will tell all my friends to never shop there again. Sisters are supposed to stick together, not treat each other with disrespect.
poor quality. I purchased six different items there, and within a month five out of the six items had begun to fall apart. So my opinion of the store is that it is way over priced, the clothes have poor quality and the customer service was slow.
amazing store!. what an incredible selection of clothes and such a friendly sales staff. I can see why this store is the talk of the town. The staff will work with you to find exactly what you are looking for and are not pushy at all. Just a quick thank you for all the great emails informing me of all your sales and events. Keep up the good work!
Owner Unfair. I bought a pair of pants here that fell apart in less than a week. The owner said she could'nt do anything about it....and was not accomadating at all. I ended up calling the manufactuer direct and getting a new pair - plus a free t-shirt for the inconvience. This rating is unfair,, because she was - has'nt learn basics "customer is always right" -- just think she could have call that manufacture herself - hmm that's a thought?!?!
Create a fashionable look without going too wild at this homey boutique..
The Scene
Feel like you're coming home--quite literally--when you walk through the front door. White molding, a fireplace and a chandelier dispersed among three connected rooms reveal that this was once a house. In the back, mint green- and pink-striped dressing rooms bring to mind a beach house setting. Fresh flowers on tables burst with subtly sweet fragrances.
The Goods
Simple and cute coordinates, primarily in solid colors and made by domestic designers, are the crux of this boutique's fashion angle. Designers like Shine NY provide basic, collared and ribbed tops, while Alice and Olivia get creative with fanny-embracing pants that flaunt somewhat funky fabrics. Denim by Hudson or Red Engine thoroughly cover all sexy, low-riding grounds and the young Jessie della Femina provides the cutesy dresses. Pick up fun gifts like polka-dotted umbrellas or Simple She's tees that proclaim confessions of shopping addictions.
The ideal boutique. Not only are the clothes fresh and sassy, the staff is wonderful at making you feel relaxed and wanted whether you are just brousing or there to spend money. I bought a wonderful "jessie della femina" top which the owner helped me pick out and whenever I wear it I receive numerous compliments. A great, and most importantly fun experience over all.
Unique on Union Street.... Abigail Morgan is undoubtedly the most extraordinary boutique in which I have ever shopped! In addition to the central location, great store layout, and unique clothing from new designers, the lovely couple who own the boutique are especially gifted at picking out that special something for work, weekend, or an evening out. The store, staff, and merchandise make it an all-around special shopping experience I highly recommend to anyone.
