I loved it. I was referred to the Red chair salon by one of my friends and when I finally had a chance to go there for color and cut, I experienced first hand of what my friend has been raving about all this time. The salon truly has a group of professional working there. My entire experience was fabulous and above all Francisco and Rita transformed my hair to healthy shiny, beautiful hair.

User review by junglebob. I would never use this salon again! I had long layered hair that just needed some "softening". Five inches later I was left with blunt all one-length hair. I'm still trying to grow it out so something decent can be done with it. My color was good, but not great, especially for the price I paid. I felt like I threw $300.00 dollars away. What a waist.

This Chair is Red Hot. Loved the experience at the 'Red', very friendly staff, looked after me like a king.

My wash and head massage were superb, I came off the sink floating..........

Cheung knows how to cut hair, I have a 'European' cut and this guy put my long locks

under control.

The Red Chair is a comfy chair indeed.

A wonderful & Relaxing experience. From the asst. (Timmory) to my stylist Don and colorist Rita I always have a blast and the finished product is Awesome! I feel really good when I leave the Red Chair (I look GREAT too!)

Editorial Review. Salon with balcony overlooking Union Street offers cuts, coloring, styling using Bumble and bumble, Kerastase and Phyto products.

Daniel Freeman is fabulous!. I've been going to Daniel for over a year and I'm always happy with my cut. I have very curly hair so finding someone good is difficult. He knows just what to do...a few layers here and there to balance the hair without it becoming to frizzy and never too many layers that I feel I can't keep it up myself. He also is a wonder when it comes to blow outs. Whenever I leave the salon people can't even recognize me and say they've never seen curly hair look so straight. So, if you want an awesome salon with someone you can trust to give you a great cut, look no further, Daniel is your guy.

Sassy haircut from Bradley. I just got my haircut from Bradley and it is fantastic-I love it. I was growing out a hack job-I have fine hair that was too layered 2 mo ago and Bradley saved my length and gave me layers but in a different way that accented my texture-didn't shred up my fine, highlighted hair. He is friendly, charming and I loved my "Red Chair Cooler" that I sipped during my cut. He has excellent training and I will trust him for future cool cuts.

Stylists worthy of NYC. After moving here from NYC, I had trouble finding a stylist I trusted. I've been to both Cheung and Francisco at the Red Chair Salon. Cheung has sought out training in London and it shows. If you like edgier, downtown styles or styles that require precision such as shorter haircuts - Cheung is your man. Don't expect any idle chit-chat - it's just his personal style. If you're looking for someone a little more social look no farther than the next chair over. Francisco is great - especially if youre looking for a little more swing and a little less shag. Both Cheung and Francisco are truly talented and worth the money.

Anastasia is the best!. I had my hair colored by Anastasia recently. She did it EXACTLY how I wanted it. You get what you pay for. She is an awesome colorist and is very friendly. I love my hair color!
