haha this is a pre-review. I haven't actually had the tacos yet because I went yesterday for Cinco de Mayo and Tuesday happy hour from 4-9PM but it was so packed that I was too lazy to try to get a taco. But I did see a bunch of tacos being eaten and they did look delicious.

This place is always fresh and quick. I love the fish tacos but really everything is good. Try the guacamole too, it's one of the best I've had. This is a great spot for late dining after watching a game or hanging out at Shanghai Kelly's accross the street. Sometimes it's just the simple pleasures like this place that's been around forever.

by Juan Carlos 02/01/2008 The burritos are great now that you can get them with rice inside. I never understood why you couldn't before. But you still have to ask for it. The main problems though are 1. The constant reggae music. What does reggae have to do with Mexico? For a couple of weeks they switched it to random classic rock and it was much better. The owners were probably on vacation. Now the constant, annoying reggae is back. 2. NO PEPPER! How can you eat Mexican food without pepper? There is salt on every table. The food does not need salt. No restaurant food ever needs extra salt. But pepper is absolutely mandatory. Every time I ask for it, they don't seem to care or understand why it is so important. I used to eat there every day, but after asking, and asking for pepper, and getting tired of the infernal reggae, I gave up
