Hugh McGuire - fantastic colorist/stylist. Hugh McGuire is amazingly talented with color. I've been living in NYC for 5 years and haven't been able to top him, so I come in for color whenever I am in SF. He does luxurious highlights/full-color and gorgeous cuts. Another plus -- I love chilling in the sun-drenched loft-like space with city-views at Ron Pernell Studio. The people there are lovely, so it's a great, friendly vibe when you have your hair done. I always walk out feeling fab, and people stop me on the street to ask who does my hair. The answer: Hugh McGuire @ Ron Pernell Studio - master colorist/stylist extrorinaire!

Best hair color!. Ron Pernell is an amazing hair colorist and stylist. My hair color has never looked so natural. No one would ever guess that I have a lot of gray hair. And my hair is so healthy. Ron takes extra care not to put color where you don't need it, so your hair stays its healthiest. His studio is lovely and he is so welcoming and fun, that I look forward to my visits every six weeks. Ron is the best -- he knows everything about hair! You won't find anyone better.
