In Short – Founded in 1983, this high-tech haven is recognizable by its blue, box-like building stamped with a yellow price tag-shaped logo. Explore the wide, gadget-lined aisles and find brand-name goods including personal computers, video games, TVs, digital cameras, cell phones and fax machines. Choose from a slew of popular brands such as Canon, Microsoft, Samsung and Sony. In-house installation services are available for most car audio and video systems, home entertainment systems, satellite hook-up, and home appliances.

Best Buy is the Worst!!!
by Stuart7777 at Citysearch
Best Buy on Harrison in San Francisco is the worst!
The salesman was a snake.
I bought a washer and dryer.
The installer couldn't have done less or cared less.
He said I needed a side exhaust kit for my dryer, and just go back to Best Buy and buy one and he would come back out and hook it up as part of the original installation.
When I went to the store the salesman who sold me the units was there.
He couldn't have been more helpful when I bought the units.
When I came back needing the side exhaust kit he just said Best Buy doesn't sell it or install it, and couldn't get rid of me fast enough. He barely looked at me.
This salesman is a snake. Helpful when he wanted the sale and could care less about you after.
I had to get an appliance guy to finally hook up my dryer.
Best Buy did say they will reemburse me for the appliance guy charge, but that was only after I said I wanted to return the washer and dryer.
Stay away from Best Buy and their slimey appliance salesman.
Do we have any other choice?

I have had over and over bad experiences with best buy. I kept telling myself that, that will be the last time I shop at best buy but here in San Francisco we do not have a choice. Bad customer service, Be careful in getting the extended warranty.
