Stylish Clothing!. This is a great little boutique where you can find fashionable clothing! I am exploring SF since I just moved here and Hayes Valley is the place for boutiques and this one does not disapoint. Great jeans as well as other clothing!
Great Intimate Service, Classic Clothing. When you go to Dish you are not just paying for the clothes, but for the experience. The employees are always very helpful, but don't come off too pushy (which automatically turns me off of a boutique). I know that I can go in there ask them if it looks good and they will give me an honest answer. If it doesn't look just right, they will pick out another outfit that fits perfectly. It is like having a personal stylist but without spending thousands of dollars on one. I hate being lied to when I try on clothes...especially really expensive ones, so I really appreciate the honesty that I receive and the ability for them to always make my trip worth while. Both of the stores have the same merchandise. Both are great, but I live closer to Berkeley and it has really adorable baby clothing. The clothes are more classic pieces that you have for a lifetime not just until they go out of style. Dish is definitely worth checking out especially if you have somewhere special to go and need to look really amazing!
Dainty dresses, sleek jackets and super-sexy, super-pricey jeans are the hallmarks of this Hayes Valley shop.. Stylish, name-brand designs from New York and Los Angeles fill the clean, white interiors of this boutique. High-end denim, like Rebecca Taylor and Citizens of Humanity, paired neatly with classic yet trendy camisoles and sweaters, are displayed simply on large, dark wooden tables while flowing dresses hang throughout the store. Jewelry, purses and other accessories, like shoes by Calleen Cordero, complement the feminine selection and the store's chic décor.
beautiful clothes and friendly service. I have been shopping at dish for years and I felt like I had to finally write a review. They consistently have such a wonderful and unique selection of clothing and accessories. I really enjoy the atmosphere, and the service seems very balanced to me. The girls are nice and very knowledgable but not pushy like alot of other boutiqes in San Francisco. I can find something every time I go in there. It is fashionable without being trendy.
Dish...D=don't I=intentionally S=shop H=here.
I made a misstake thinking I might find something here. I showed up a full hour until closing (I know it's annoying when someone strolls in 5 minutes to close) The sales associate didn't acknowledge me once...no hello when I walked in, no offer to answer questions, nothing!
I was actively looking for a pair of grey jeans...even said it out loud to my friend. I was ready to spend a pretty penny for them too, but the cold, completely silent atmosphere, and the intentionally unhelpful sales girl ended up making me feel completely unwelcome. It got so uncomfortable that I finally had to ask if she was trying to close, to which she replied a snappy "yes, sort of but whatever, you're fine"
The street is a shoppers delight with all its options, but this place is a bust.
the best store in SF. I have always loved this store, but they have the cutest stuff right now!!The buyer has really outdone herself! The staff here is always really nice and honest. I just bought the best fitting jeans; I could have just kept spending and spending!! check it out.
