Editorial Review for Clautiere Vineyard – by Tara de Lis
In Short
A little off the beaten path and a long way down the rabbit hole, the decor here is self-described as "Edward Scissorhands meets the Mad Hatter at the Moulin Rouge." Triangulated patterns of silver and purple blend with oversized sunflowers and oddly shaped chairs. Named after a playful fusion of the two owners, Claudine and Terry Brady, the Francophone-like name fits with their emphasis on Rhone varietals and blends. But even non-wine drinkers enjoy coming here just to play dress-up.

Insider Tips
Know Before You GoThe tasting fee is $5 and includes a logo glass. Tasting fees are not waived with purchases.
Look GoodThe merchandise section features all the usual clothing items, but specializes in funky hats, natch.
Fun FactThere's no designated picnic area or tables, but there is a classic car from the 1930s on the property, which makes for a good photo op.
