Best Massage Therapists in the City. This place should pride itself on it's amazing massage therapists. Although my friends and I all have our favorites, we have different ideas of what a good massage--and this team of therapists really meet all of our needs! I am not a member of the sports club, and my friend is...we always come to get massages together, and they never treat me differently because I am not a member. They also have Epicuren skincare, and from what I hear, they are going to be carrying Environ skincare, which is AMAZING! This place is worth every penny!
Okay Spa. I went to this spa recently with one of my girlfriends because she had a gift certificate and wanted to try out the spa and the gym. Before our treatments, we got there early so we can take advantage of the gym and the classes offered. I wasn't too impressed with the gym, although it was big, it felt a little 80's like and needed to be updated, but the classes we took were great. (it was a stability ball and a yoga class). The spa was ok and the massage was just ok as well. But my massage therapist was super nice and made it a good experience overall. From what I was told, they are supposed to re-do their menu, so maybe i'll go back there and try a facial.
Fantastic Experience.. Ive always had excellent service at Splash Spa. From the minute you walk in the door and are greated warmly, to when you leave. This spa is tucked away in a sports club and thats what it really caters for, although the facials are amazing! The therapists are experienced and professional, and I would recommend this Spa to everyone.
Relaxing and enjoyable expericence. My experience at Splash Spa was very enjoyable and I would recommend the services. The atmosphere and facial were both relaxing. Splash Spa will have me as a regular client from now on.
Horribly overrated. I have had not one but two horrific experiences at this spa. The reception staff is snobby and rude, and the two therapists that I saw were unprofessional and downright creepy. The place looks like a physical therapist's office instead of a spa, and the ambiance about as warm as a dentist's office. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing or soothing experience.
Located in an upscale gym, even non-athletes put themselves in the hands of skilled staff at this swank spa..
The Scene
Tucked away inside the ultra-luxe gym Sports Club/L.A., this spa caters to the fitness-minded client and guests from the adjacent Four Seasons. The friendly reception staff hand clients oversized terrycloth robes and point them to the Sports Club's vast, crowded locker room, which can be somewhat jarring to an otherwise serene setting.
The Services
Once you step back through the spa's doors, you'll forget about the hustle and bustle of the neighboring gym. As expected for such a high-end spa, the masseuses and estheticians are true experts, customizing a full menu of treatments for each client's needs. The aromatherapy massage borrows from both Swedish and Eastern styles, giving attention to the head, face and feet, along with the rest of the body. A popular package is the Athlete's Retreat, which includes a massage specially designed for runners, and includes: green tea and ginger wrap, scalp treatment, facial and a day-long pass to Sports Club/L.A.
The Details
Steam room, dry sauna. Massage, body treatments, Reiki, acupuncture, facials, hair removal, sunless tanning.
