Best Quesadilla in Town. The super quesadilla with carne asada (everything on it) at El Farolito is one of the best examples of junk food in the US, right up there with the best Philly cheesestake, NYC pizza slice, or Chicago hot dog. Compliment with salsa verde. Fat grams per order.... probably enough for two weeks. So good though.

Colossal burritos and cheap prices make this one of San Francisco's most popular taquerias.. In Short
This traditional, gritty taqueria, with its blue and yellow interior, is especially popular with late-night diners. After the local bars close, revelers flock here for the extremely large burritos, filled with fresh meats, such as carne asada, stewed chicken and spicy al pastor. Other fillings include fresh avocado, rice, beans, sour cream and cilantro, all wrapped in a thin, grilled tortilla. Green salsa is homemade with avocado and tomatillo.

Burrito Heaven. I have been eating at El Farolito for about 10 years and they have been consistent year in and year out. They are the biggest burritos you are going to find for this price. They ambiance isn't all that great, but why should it, since I'm coming in there at 2 in the morning for a late night burrito fix. This is the best hands down. Visit their other locations as well. There should be one in/near your neighborhood
