Tremendous.. I love sushi, and found the fish here very good. The rolls are creative, too. I've always found the service very courteous and friendly. We're regulars, and expect to continue to be!

Traditional Japanese decor and West Coast cool collide over innovative sushi.. The Scene
High-tech hip abounds as minimalist Asian decor fuses with modern artistic touches. A spiral neon tapestry of lights and large plasma TV displaying nature scenes hang over the sushi bar, while electronic music at a surprisingly tolerable level provides a stylish soundtrack for the über-cool patrons.

The Food

A wealth of creative sushi rolls and some outstanding presentation-forward entrees make Naked Fish a huge hit. The Ika-Sansai cold calamari appetizer with Japanese mountain veggies explodes with a delicately sweet sesame vinaigrette. The Red Caterpillar roll, stuffed with spicy and seared tuna with a subtle, warmed honey glaze is a wonderful marriage of sweet and spice. Baby lobster tail from the robata grill tastes as beautiful as it looks, although the garlic dressing is little more than glorified potato salad. Under Chef Rick's specials, try Hatate Batayaki scallops with garlic butter--scallops have rarely been pan-fried to such perfection.

Try the Sake Sampler.. We were seated promptly, the waitstaff was very courteous, and the sushi and sake were excellent. The sake sampler was fabulous.

Fresh Hawaiian fish. we always like Naked fish's creative rolls and now they are serving Hawaiian only fish w/ their own specail sauce. The waitress recommended us not to use soy sauce and it was unbelievable! I would suggest you try their Aloha sampler, Hamach carpaccio and fire cracker balls.

Good sushi, stylish decor. Very good sushi (beats nearby Ace Wasabi hands down) in a stylish atmosphere. Let the sushi chefs suprise you and you won't be disappointed. Sake selection needs work.

Best Sushi in Marina. If you want great sushi, friendly staff, creative menu, you have to try this place. I am a big sushi fan and have been to the best sushi places in SF, and this is by far, my favorite.

Try the Red catepillar, fire cracker balls, and Hot mamas. I guarantee you will be addicted to this awesome place and come back for more!
