Super Authentic. The Chili Rellanos comes on a hot dish with melted cheese. It's so good it'll change your life. Hands down my favorite dish.

Maria Maria is BETTER than the Cantina. Okay okay, it was hard to go back in. I know we all miss the Cantina, but this place is great!!!! You gotta try it.

I want my Cantina back!. Yep, I'm another who loved the Cantina for great food at reasonable prices. Sit outside with your dog at the table. Kids parties galore.

Not any more. If you can get a waiter, you get a lot of the same dishes the Cantina had, but with smaller portions for increased prices. And the vegetable side-dish has to be ordered at extra cost. Who needs that? Forget coming with your dog for dining outside. The restaurant is too good for that now.

Go somewhere else for your Mexican food. There's at least two others in Mill Valley.

On My List From Now On. Maria Marias has gotten better and better. I've been going to this restaurant for about a year and a half and everytime I come back I find something else to like about it.

Aside from loving the food, the atmosphere, and the music, my newest compliment has to do with the fact that on Wednesday nights kids eat free. I found this out by accident yesterday and thought that was just a great touch.

One of My Favorites. Ok people we all miss the Cantina but everyone trust me... Maria Marias food is so much better and fresher too. Santana has a little gold mine on his hands.

Filthy tables, poor service; good food not enough. We have been going to The Cantina for the past 2 years because the food is good, and it is very kid friendly. We noticed a few months ago however that the service had been deteriorating to the point where we would hesitate to go, but it was the only place that was easy to get a table with kids. Last week was the final straw however, when we were seated outside at a table that was wiped off with a filthy rag, leaving caked on gook all over it. We were then brought out a highchair that I wouldn't put my dog in it was so filthy. Fine, we wiped off the table ourselves and the highchair. Still hoping things would get better we waited for 20 minutes before someone took our drink orders and brought us silverware. After about 25 minutes we decided to leave (still without a server visiting us despite our complaints to the manager) never to return. Yes the food is decent, but not worth it. Just think of the conditions in the kitchen! Yuck!

Best Mexican This Side of the Bridge!. Great service and great food have turned us into regulars at this wonderful Mexican restaurant. We've tried many things from the menu and have never been disappointed with anything. Delicious sauces and salsas, burritos, tacos... you name it, its all good! The portions can be pretty big, so show up hungry or be prepared for leftovers. With reasonable prices this place can't be beat! The Cantina makes the over-rated Guaymas look like a street vendor from the outskirts of Tijuana. Avoid overpriced bland food and rude waiters at Guaymas and go to where you are treated well and served delicious reasonably priced food - THE CANTINA!
