The first Round Table Pizza opened in Menlo Park, Calif. in 1959. Today, the chain boasts more than 500 restaurants internationally and is recognized for its made-from-scratch dough, mozzarella, provolone and cheddar blend and gourmet toppings like fire-roasted Roma tomatoes, creamy garlic sauce and salami. Pizzas are available in pan and "skinny" (aka, super-thin) varieties. The menu also offers up turkey, ham and chicken club sandwiches, bread sticks and salads.

This review is for Round Table Pizza at Sunset with the number 664-4446. Rude service, Sloppy food. Avoid at all cost.. First, rude employees who took delivery calls. Will say "Please hold, thank you" without giving the caller a chance to agree. Hold calls for 3-5 minutes & disconnects you once. I called five times before my orders were taken but it was repeated to me all wrong. I give my phone number, she spew out wrong address from her database. After correcting her errors she sounded disgusted, I dared correct my own address. Then she hang up without asking for mode of payment. Bad luck, I want to pay credit card so I called again & was put on hold 3-5 min. again by the same employee. After knowing why I'm calling, she asked me to hold, again. By now, I got the feeling that this is a DISASTER customer service, but I was thinking its worth the wait and mess since my previous experience with gourmet veggie pizza is great when I was in Salinas. Besides when I asked the employee who was taking my order if its such a bother for a delivery, in case they are very busy, I can cancel my order. She said, I am not bothering them and they can take my order. WRONG. Delivery comes 50 minutes later, driver don't have a pen. DISAPPOINTMENT. Pizza's center crust is raw, so I decided to cook it. I'm thinking, well there's buffalo wings, to alleviate my hunger, when I opened the second box, IT WAS NOT THE WINGS, its a pathetic looking garlic twist/sticks. So, I called, again, and was put on hold, again. Five minutes later, the supervisor picked the phone & surprise, its the same one who took my order. After asking for my concerns, she implied that I am a liar. " THE DRIVER SAID HE GAVE YOU THE WINGS" she said. I explained its a garlic twisted stick in the second box. In an annoyed voice she asked if I want credit or wings. What a bad joke! OF COURSE I WANT MY WINGS, after going through all this trouble! 35 minutes later the wings arrived. By this time I lost my appetite already and deeply regrets ever dialing Round Table 664-4446 number. By the way, they gave me raw wings too.

Read this BEFORE ordering...!. Hi, I am a lifetime customer of Round Table and have been since I was a kid. I also worked for the company at a different location for 3 years and I know how it should taste. This RT store has been unfortunately and consistently BAD! I've tried to give them a fair chance but usually the pizza is dry with the crust burnt too much. I even tried ordering extra sauce to help and received one with NO SAUCE at all! They usually won't put enough meat toppings on it even if you order extra or an all-meat. I wish this was just one incident, but it is not and I won't order

from them anymore. It's sad but it is the only one in my area so I've had to look around for decent pizza. Save your money...

Almost the best pizza. If you're willing to wait the 45 minutes for a delivery down the street, then it is the best pizza. An hour later, you receive a luke warm pie.
