Based in Durango, Colo., this chocolatier has been packaging sweetness since 1981. Over 300 candies and confectionery products, like the famous "Bear"--a paw-sized concoction of chewy caramel, roasted nuts and heavy chocolate--have made the Crail family business an international success. Mountainous mounds of clusters, caramels, creams and truffles are just some of the ready-made treats available in stores and online. In-store candy-making demonstrations using copper kettles and gas-fired stoves are also popular.

Best carmel apples!. Everything is good here, but this place is the caramel apple mecca! It doesn't stop at the caramel and the apple - oh no! There are lots of variations! My favorite being the apple pie caramel apple. They're reasonable priced, and can be sliced for your eating convenience.

If you are ever at the wharf, you must g-o!
