Some info to know before you go. I had done my research before setting up a spa day. I had read all the reviews about this spa and was ready for a great day of relaxation. A few things that ruined the experience were- 1. Right before the massage I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to a cocoa butter or a scented oil. After I said no, the therapist made me feel as if the product she was going to use was sub-standard. I paid $200 for the Spa-Fusion package. I thought I was getting the best?

2. The bathing experience was terrible. The therapist massaged my hands and feet (did not massage my neck) for about 8 minutes. The session was 25 minutes. The therapist sat in a corner and did nothing while I just sat in this bath. I was really looking forward to this session before the massage. IT was a HUGE disappointment!!

3. The fruit that was brought in between my bath and massage was old and should have been thrown out. I did not notice it as the lights were dimmed. After I bit into the pineapple I turned on the light and there were black spots all over it. I turned over the rest of the fruit and saw the same black spots. The fruit on the plate looked good util you turned them over, it was like they purposely did this?

I called management to express my concerns and did not get a call back. I kept calling and 3 days later I was able to get a manger. They said they had been very busy. I told them everything that happened and they did compensate me for the miserable experience. The compensation was fine, but I hope they upgrade the customer service for future guests.

Based on other reveiws, this place is probably pretty good?

I will never go back...Good Luck

Best Spa Ever!!!. I have to say, I was a little bit skeptical when I heard that this spa was located in the middle of the city... but hey, don?t knock it till you try it... right? RIGHT it was! Spa Fusion is one of the best spas that I have ever been to. The staff was very warm and friendly, they offer complimentary access to their beautiful health club, treats in the serenity lounge, and the locker room was very clean and stocked with goodies! Not to mention, the massage that I received was magical! Darby knew exactly what to do to make me feel completely relaxed. I love this place and have made it a point to come back once a month. I live in the area and this spa gives me exactly what I need after a long day in the office. I will be back!

A pleasant San Francisco spa - but avoid convention season!. I've been here a few times, and will return again. Once you navigate your way through the hotel, and past the rather inhospitable spa lobby the actual spa itself is quite inviting. The "waiting" area is attractive and the little nibbles were to my taste. During one visit I felt as though I had the spa to myself, another time the spa appeared to be full of convention goers and was crowded and noisy.

My treatments have mostly been satisfactory, although one massage was marred by a therapist who could have paid more attention to what she was doing. Locker room amenities were pleasant, with an abundance of towels.

The downtown location is either a plus or a minus, it can be a bit challenging to wend you way through traffic and find parking especially on busy days.

What a great place. I'm so glad I came here. I love going to spas and after a not so great experience at another spa two weeks ago, I wasn't keeping my hopes up and felt like i had to try another place. I looked at the website and was pleased that they also had a health club so I can work out beforehand. Once I got there, the front desk person was really friendly and helpful. I had a good workout and took a shower and steam before my treatments (i loooove their mango products!). When my therapist greeted me she directed me to a wonderful hydrotherapy bath. It was great. Afterwards I had an awesome massage and was totally relaxed afterwards. I felt so good, I didn't want to leave! I still felt pretty good a few days afterwards! I'm definitely going to come back again and try the other services!
