Great comfort food!. We were surprised to find such good food at a place we had heard nothing about in the area. Our braised short ribs melted in our mouths and we were sitting near the kitchen and salivating over most dishes that went out. Their new recipe (they told us) for the beignets for dessert were the lightest and tastiest we have had. We will definitely be going back there and bringing friends for its fun lively atmosphere. The one thing they could work on is better service, we waited 45 minutes for our first course and noticed food sitting up at the counter a lot, not being brought to the tables right away...maybe a runner would help?

Very good food at reasonable prices. The food was very good. Incredible value for the early bird prix fixe (soup or salad, entree and glass of wine for $15). We can't wait to go back. Skip dessert, though. We split 3 and they were all just OK.
