GREAT FOOD, GOOD DELIVERY. We LOVE this place. The delivery is always on time, food good and hot. I've gone in person too and the service was very good, nice atmosphere. We are regulars.

Great take out. Got take out and everything was very good (pad thai, summer rolls, green curry). Green curry was exceptionally tasty. Very friendly staff, and food was available quickly. Looks like a nice setting for dining in as well.

Decent Thai, quick delivery. I ordered $35 worth of food. The Pad Thai, Chicken Pad See Ewe, Pumpkin Curry with Chicken, and Red Curry with prawns. The Pad Thai and Chicken Pad See Ewe is okay....the Pumpkin Curry and Red Curry has a lot of flavor, similar, but good. The only complaint I really have is there's not enough chicken or prawns in the dishes. In the Red Curry with Prawns, there were only five prawns. I think the dish was $8.95, not worth that price for the lack of hearty ingredients, when I know other places around town have cheaper prices, better quality, and larger portions.

Over all, Silver Spoon is convenient. Delivery was quick.

Quiet neighborhood restaurant. We've often passed this restaurant and never see a crowd outside the door and finally decided to order take-out to sample the cuisine. The restaurant was very quiet, not crowded and had a nice decor. It's not the best Thai food I've ever had, but not bad. The larb gai was decent but not enough tang or minty flavor for my taste. The Evil Jungle Prince beef curry was the best of 2 curries we ordered. Would skip the Gag Kari chicken curry next time. They put their pad thai over an aluminum foil in the takeout flatbox. It left the bottom of the food with a metallic taste because of the leaching from the tomato acids. I wish they didn't do that. The pad see ew was faily good with a nice aroma, reminded me of the chow fun dishes found at Chinese restaurants. Would recommend trying this local restaurant if only for the solitude rarely found in over-patronized, hip places. You can actually have a conversation at the table without shouting.

A wonderful place....second to none. Silver Spoon is a gem. The food here is excellent. The ingredients for the dishes are so perfectly fused together in a nice culinary delight, try the Evil Jungle Price with a side of brown rice and bathe in it's healing holy light. Also try the Ginger Snapper. In addition to the great taste of the dishes, they are also presented very well. The ambiance of this place is also perfect. It is roomy and the decor is very comforting to the eyes. I applaud the amazing cook/s of this wonderful place.

Comforting Thai Fusion. Just around the corner from the West Portal tunnel, this restaurant is convenient and well worth going the extra mile for. They serve many traditionally prepared Thai dishes, although their dishes that incorporate an element of fusion are my favorites. A quiet atmosphere and polite and thoughtful staff make this a great retreat from the bustle of West Portal. Their Evil Jungle Prince and Pumpkin Curry are both delicious and comforting favorites I seek out on rainy days. Fresh ingredients and reasonable prices make this one of my favorite Thai places in SF.

Great curries ... and more. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, tables comfortably spaced so that you're not bumping elbows with your neighbors. Their curries are wonderful, but if you like your Thai dishes very spicy you may want to emphasize this to the waiter -- most dishes are pretty mild. Try the Evil Jungle Prince -- unusual and delicious!

Parking can be a challenge.
