Customer is NEVER right!. I had a bizarre experience here. The staff (an older man, possibly the owner) made my drink, rang me up for $3.53, I gave him a $10 bill, and just as he was handing me my change, said, oh, it's actually $5. I said, "why?" and he mumbled something about an extra shot of espresso. I objected that he didn't tell me that he was adding another shot and would charge more. He said that there was also soy milk - it's on the board. "Soymilk" is on the board, but there is no price next to it -- and every other item does have an accompanying price. So he said, how much did you give me, $5? I give it to you, you go now! He was kicking me out of the cafe for questioning the price, which he changed mid-transaction!!! And then attempted to give me $5 back for the $10 I gave him! All this took place in under a minute, I couldn't even process why I was being asked to leave. I consider myself a very respectful, kind person, always willing to communicate and never losing my temper, and here I was being kicked out of this cafe because he charged me the wrong price! Unbelievable. I will never in a million years go back here -- they have no concept of customer service AT ALL.

For lingering at its best, there's usually a seat available at this popular cafe.. In Short
Students from nearby New College are supposed to be studying, but instead the crowd heavy wooden tables to chat and gossip. It's not just the free Internet access and location that keeps these chins wagging; it's also the Thanksgiving brand coffee and bodacious tea selection that has them all a'jitter. It's more a hangout than a destination, but standard light bites are also available.
