Great food, but service is unpredictable. I'd give this place 5 stars if they would change their very strange way of serving food. You order your meal and they give you a numbered card on a tall metal stand. When your food is ready, they bring it to your table. Trouble is, your food can arrive anywhere between 3 and 30 minutes after you order, and they make no effort to coordinate the delivery to an entire table. I went there today with 3 friends, who were all served within 10 minutes of sitting down. My order was delayed for some reason, even though I went up to the cashier to complain. After 30 minutes my friends were done eating and ready to go, and I still hadn't been served. I went to complain a second time... finally they brought my food out, but I had to leave. In fairness to them, they did offer to box it to go, but that didn't work for me so I just told them to dump it. No apology, no explanation, no offer to refund. They were utterly apathetic. I won't be back.

Great ambience and location, so-so food. I came here for lunch and LOVED the atmosphere and vibe. The superhigh ceilings, weird art, indoor plants, and well-placed seating make it a perfect place to relax and meet up with people. It seems like the perfect place to grab drinks, and apparently gets hopping after work - I definitely want to come back for happy hour. We got the sweet-potato fries, which were unbelievably good, but my turkey sandwich was BAD. The turkey was dry and old, and the bread was soggy - I could seriously have made a much better sandwich at home. Still, I'd be up for trying other things on the menu.

A casual SoMa loft dishing cocktails and cuisine in airy surroundings.. In Short
During the day, the brick and periwinkle-and-muted-yellow interior is filled with lunching masses. At night, a homey warehouse vibe prevails, with a DJ spinning chilled lounge grooves from the mezzanine. Beneath skylights and original art prints, the main floor features a long wooden banquette running the left side of the room; a small back bar and various seating options are also sprinkled throughout--including a couple small leather couches.

Delicious menu, great ambiance, great location. First off the location is perfect, near some of the biggest attractions and busiest spots in the City. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very ecclectic, a great urban cafe with a Euro feel. The appetizers were as tasteful as the music playing throughout the restaurant. Their famous sweet potato fries were excellent and the mojitos were great, fresh and crisp. Great selection of beers on tap. The overall feel of the place was very energetic and comfortable. Definitely worth going there again. One of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco, by far.

Relaxed Atmosphere. I recently went to Zebulon with two friends on a Friday after work. There were a number of people, but the location didn't feel crowded. The outside tables provided a very relaxed, comfortable environment to share some drinks. It was slightly disconcerting that the waitress had difficulty with the concept of a martini, and comp'ed my friends drink after it languished inside for a long time. But once surmounted those minor hurdles, it was a perfect way to end the week.
