When you order the food, he even didn't look at you. When a customer ask him to do some service, he even yelled at the customers in front the owner and owner just ignore what he had done to the customer. I'll never go there again.
Chinese Breakfast - too bad it's no good.
We drove all the way to San Mateo for some traditional Chinese breakfast food... dou jeung (soybean milk), you tiu, that sort of thing. We were sorely disappointed.
The dou jeung tasted burnt, and nothing else was that good either. The you tiu weren't fresh, the potstickers were hard to eat, and the green onion pancakes had no flavor. Maybe we came on an off-day, but I'm not planning on trying Little Sichuan again to see if the food is normally better.
Perhaps one of the worst dining experiences!. Memorable not for the average food, but for quite possibly the worst service I have ever encountered! The wait staff is beyond rude, and the only "service" you will receive is when the check is dropped off at your table with the arrival of the last dish! A definate NO!
Sad but true. This place is one of me and my coworkers regular lunch spots. The food is good, the portions are big and the overall value is great. The service, is the absolute worst I've ever encountered. A couple times, I needed to break a $20 bill and they refused to give me change. Also, they consistently hand you the bill with the food, implying hurry up and eat and leave so they can turn the table. They give you about 1 minute to decide what you want to order. The epitomy of bad service.
Awesome food! Horrendous services. Not big on writing reviews, but I had to let you know that if you're considering going to Little Sichuan then be prepared to keep your cool, and focus ONLY on the quality of food. The service is terrible, waiters are actually rude at times.
Pathetic Service.
This is one of the places that has good food but less than ordinary service.
On a scorching day, in peak summers, this place doesn't serve even a glass of water when you enter.
The waiters and waiteresses are arrogant and indifferent to cutomer's needs, not to mention that fact that they are not very well conversant in English.
I guess the owner has some other vocations too and this reaturant is not something that is on his priority list.
Well............thats the blessing of owning a restaurant in San Mateo down town right ?
Great spicy authentic sichuan food. I love this restuarant, has the right amount of spicyness in the food.
