Great Sushi!!! Friendly Service!!!. Was in town visiting from Los Angeles. After walking around Chinatown we happened to stumble upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try for dinner. We were both pleasantly surprised with the quality, freshness, and friendly service at this place. DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone who's in the area. My husband who is an avid sushi eater loved this place. He does not normally eat rolls but gave the Millenium roll a try and just loved it. He ended up ordering 3 of the Millenium rolls, 1 Broadway, and a Columbus roll. He did not leave me a piece. We both enjoyed our visit there and will be back for many more visits. Oh by the way try the Godzilla roll...that was my favorite pick. Thanks SAN FRAN love your city...

Good prices, sub par quality. I was staying at the Hilton Financial District and this is the only sushi nearby. I went for dinner around 8:00 on Wednesday and it wasn't very busy (two other tables), but there were a periodic stream of locals getting take out. The prices are very good, but the quality of the food was less than I expected. I started with the Little T Hat roll, which was pretty goof although it could have used more avocado. I then got a spider roll and a caterpiller roll. The spider roll had some kind of grit in it and was not very tasty at all. The caterpillar roll wasn't bad, but it was hard to enjoy with the taste of that bad spider roll in my mouth. Overall, not bad and the price can't be beat, but there are much better options about 10 blocks away.

Very consistant, I would seriously recommend. It has be several years since I first ate at this restaurant and I must say the quality is still excellent. Portions are above average, service is very friendly and attentive and the food is very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes sushi. The atmosphere is nice and I would happily bring a date here.

Must have while in SF. I checked out Yokohama based on these reviews and I have to completely agree with them. The food was excellent!! I started out with a spicy tuna roll (4.50) which was perfect! Nice little kick to it but nothing over powering. The Salmon and Shrimp were also excellent. The Eel was a great finisher, very warm and it just tasted great. The restaurant has a nice feel to it, about 8 tables or so, holds probably about 25 people at a time. There is also a bar that holds about 6 people. The service was very quick and friendly and the prices were good, sushi prices are for 2pcs. I highly recommend Yokohama's for lunch or dinner while in San Francisco.

Best Sushi in San Francisco. I am an avid sushi fan and have eaten sushi in most restaurants in both LA and SF. However, I highly recommend Yokohama for sushi. It was a warm and friendly atmosphere and best of all, everything on the menu is fresh and fantastic. It is a great place to go with friends, or even with groups and families. The sushi is amazing and fresh, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Best of all, the sushi chef always makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
