Founded in 1983 by Sue Lindstrom, this Chicago-based connoisseur of all things paper has since expanded to nine states beyond Illinois. Each location is still steeped in the genuine ideal that papermaking, and paper in general, is an art. Therefore, the shops stock an unlimited variety of playful colors--fuse green, confetti yellow--and a complete range of sizes for any project. Sheets of decorative paper are delicate and thin, others tough and full of fiber. Some have traveled from as far as Nepal and Japan, others may have been crafted from 100% recyclable materials at a mill nearby. Either way, you'll find all the materials you need to bind a book, make a photo album or create your own note cards. There's also a lively selection of cards, rubber stamps, calendars, address books, journals, plastic toys, candles, picture frames, ribbon, calligraphy pens and more.

Paper Bliss. I love, love, love this store. I have ordered on-line for eyars, but FINALLY got the chance to see a store in person. I was thrilled and they let me know that one was due in Portland (Oregon) soon! GET OUT!!! This makes me oh-so-happy......
