I have been going to Go Figure for some time now and believe that it's the best store for the plus-size girl in San Francisco! Carolyn (the owner) is a great gal and all of the staff is very helpful. There is a back room which is like checking out your favorite girl friends closet - - chuck full of fabulous finds at great prices. I also patronize this store because I believe wholeheartedly in supporting local boutique stores.
This Mother of the Groom Looked Sensational!!!!. I was desperate to find a unique outfit for my son's wedding. I had NOT lost weight and had waited until 2 months before the wedding to shop! I surfed the net and found Go Figure. I drove 52 miles to check out the place and was amazed at what I found! The wedding was to be in Israel - which means it was going to be HOT and Humid in July! I was also expected to be formally dressed! Now, you know why I was desperate. I found a perfect outfit for the big event and also all my travel clothes! The staff is great and even ordered a dress for me in the correct size in time for the trip. The sale racks are awesome!! I did not look like a typical "mother of" - I was stylish and comfortable and proud of how I looked! Thank you to Go Figure!! I will be back...my daughter gets married in November!!
Artistic & Elegant Plus Size Clothing. It's the "little store than can." The store is not wide but it is very deep. The staff friendly and knowledgeable and an amazing selection! Great variety of distinct and unusual styles -- clothing includes dresses, separates -- you'll find something to wear for play, for casual and work and elegant dressy styles. Lots of accessory items as well -- but absolutely exquisite and artistic selections in jacket & kimono styles. Be sure to check out sale racks in the back of the store -- you'll kick yourself if you don't.
Great store for plus sized fashion!. The Richmond District's Go Figure store is a boutique for plus-sized women. I love their styles and esp. their clearance racks. Worth checking out. :)
Big Girls, Don't Cry!.
Here's the shop we all want to wallow in! The natural fibers and stunning colors of the lines that Carolyn picks for this shop are wonderful. Do you like the feel of soft cottons and linens in your casual wear? Do you want to wear fabulous silks like Doris Roberts did on "Everybody Loves Raymond"? Try the Citron Line! No matter what you choose -- from lingerie to accessories -- Go Figure will please you.
The clothes are sophisticated, well made and stylish without being trendy (not everyone wants to wear lace and empire styles, now, do we?). You can find the perfect dress or you can create an ensemble from the huge selection in this store. Don't miss the back room -- where Carolyn stashes her treasures at remarkable discounts. The staff is great, helpful at every turn.
Take your time, there's so much to see and try on. If you walk out empty-handed, I'd be greatly surprised. Lots of stores pay lip service to the plus size woman -- but Elisabeth is closed now (by Claiborne), as is Macy's Plus Woman and the department at Nordstrom holds slim pickin's! Don't waste your time there. Head for Go Figure! By far my favorite "big girl" shop in the Bay Area.
Worth the drive!. I LOVE this store....I drive over 50 miles and it is soooo worth it. I am a young full figure woman that had a tough time finding stylish clothes, the search is over. Great selection and reasonable prices, I always leave the store with something.
This is THE place for you Full-Figured Fashionistas!. This is my first review for Citysearch, but I couldn't miss this opportunity to let women know about the zestiest clothing store in town! For you women who can't compete with scrawny teenagers for fashion, this is THE place. Owner Carolyn Honig has created Heaven on Earth for the full-figured fashionista! I literally get stopped all over town by complete strangers complementing my clothes, and asking where I bought them. I always tell them Go Figure on Clement near Third is the place! The clothing is unique and totally wearable, and the selection and size range are generous enough that there's something for everyone. No more frustration that you have a major event to attend and no way to drop 50 pounds to fit into something glamourous, or you just need a casual outfit that looks designer. It's all there at Go Figure. I never walk into the store unless I'm prepared to spend some money, because it's always too hard to resist. Even when I think I've seen it all, there's a whole new batch o' fashion to look through. THe jewelry and accessories are also fantastic! Definitely worth a trip to Clement Street! (Tell them Pam sent you!)
Best Boutique to find one of a kind designer clothing for large woman. Shopping for clothes had always been an unpleasant experience for me (I'm 5' 10' and weigh 200lbs) until I found "Go Figure". Now it is my one and only stop whether I need something special for a night out or just more clothes for work. I know I will find something unique and beautiful THAT FITS!!! Thank you Carolyn for creating a clothing store that underscores the fact that large is lovely!
this store rocks. The day i first went into GO FIGURE, I could not believe my eyes. Carolyn has done an outstanding job of choosing flattering styles for all of us who have hated buying clothes and makes the experience very easy and you walk out feeling pretty! She takes what she does seriously and her mission, I believe, is to help us who feel not so pretty feel and look our best! You must visit Go Figure yourself and you will see one of the largest selections of fashions for any occasion.
Great place to find unique pieces that add to your wardrobe!.
Being a "fluffy" girl (as the b-friend likes to call us) it's sometimes hard to find avant guard clothes or pieces that have a little something unusual. I love coming in and seeing what is new and the staff is always pleasant and accommodating.
I recommend this place for anyone who is tired of looking at clothes that have a cookie cutter look (like all we want to wear are t-shirts with appliques and sequins or something on them) I know that I like to look stylish and forward.
