Good Place For Prime Rib!. The prime rib was good, although not as tender as it should have been. The salad was good too and the service was great. I can say it is a good place if I want to eat prime rib that I don’t need to drive all away to San Francisco.

Either great or just OK. The first time I went to this restaurant I was staying at a nearby hotel and found it driving by, and thought it looked nice. Went in as a single diner with no reservation and was given a table at the bar. I received excellent service from my waiter and I thought the food was outstanding. I was determined to come back on my next trip to SF. A few months later I was in SF again and made a point of coming back here. This time I was seated in the dining room and since it was so good before, I ordered the same thing. The food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. I could not get my waiter to come back to my table once I was served, he was too busy with a very large table nearby. There are too many dining choices in SF to come back here again. Had my second experience been as good as the first, this would be a regular stop on my business trips to SF.

Go to OUTBACK or HOUSE OF PRIME RIB, BECAUSE THIS PLACE ISN'T "IT". Okay, I've been averagaing about once or twice a year at this restaurant. Recently, I read the feedbacks and then went there for my family party. #1, ALL large parties, groups over 4 people get stuck up stairs, no air conditioning, the day I went was a heat spell, can you say, 105 degrees outside and uncirculated air inside, they did have make shift fans upstairs blowing, but heat rises...... I had 9 people, and at the time, downstairs was nearly empty and they could have put the middle tables together to accomodate us since those tables were empty. #2, Yes the salad dressing is allot and heavy, drowned. the french bread was abit stale or maybe they sliced the bread early in the day? I ordered the largest prime rib cut, I ordered rare, it came out med. rare. Oddly enough the outter meat was perfectly tender then as I cut into the meat, very, very, tough meat. See my review of Outback in Daly City Ca. They had a bad slab of meat, compare it to tough dried out corn beef. I complained via email to the manager, I got a $25.00 coupon, the 2nd time around the meat was excellent, tender, juicy, sliced like butter. Getting back to this meal, that is why I know what grade the meat and how NOT to be chewy and grainy meat should be. Pudding bread? was okay, the cream of corn was firm & creamy okay, service overall was okay, they did refill the water, but the main waiter did not check on us to ask how the food was, nor did he come with the fresh pepper. I agree with the reviewers, if House of Prime Rib is too far of a drive, then go to OUTBACK, in Daly City. It's way cheaper, there's variety in salad dressing, bread is warm, the way they slice the meat from thin, med. large, extra large, varies greatly as does Broadway Prime, the last couple of times I was there if you ordered the largest prime rib, you get the "bone", well, we didn't but didn't complain because it took awhile to get the orders out, etc. For the others: Dine there and then do a review

avoid always. The place was noisy. Too many people shoved into the space available. The service was ok, not top notch. The food was mediocre to say the least. The vegetables were overcooked, and the potatoes were lukewarm.

I'd rather stay home and have canned soup!!!!

Prime Time Let Down. The owner of Broadway Prime used to be a chef at House of Prime Rib. So the formula is matched entree for entree. That's the first of their problems. Beets in the soggy prepared salads is disgusting. Wait staff know more Chinese than English. I could have sworn I was in a Chinese restaurant. Prime rib isn't aged enough so it's tasteless. And everything is as pricey as House of Prime Rib. 3 visits. 3 strikes. Out.

Just Another Imitator. Steaks are O.K., Prime Rib cuts are rather small for the price but were awfully bland. The salad was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Service actually wasn't that bad. It seems like they're trying to be a House of Prime Rib, but they're way short of coming close to the real King Henry in S.F. Nothing but a poor imitation.

Decent Food, Great Service. The prime rib was tasty, but not as tender as it should have been. The salad was good, but nothing spectacular, I wasn't impressed by the garlic mashed potatos, the creamed corn was also only okay, and the bread was just bread. The For $28, it wasn't a bad deal, considering you are paying for prime grade meat. The service was excellent, people were very friendly. Overall, it didn't impress me, but at the same time it wasn't bad. Just another prime rib house.

Overrated -- Stuck in Time!. This is an older style overrated steak and prime rib joint. Extremely limited menu... Poor quality steaks, rushed service, very noisy. Definately not reccomeneded. I would reccomend taking the time and driving to the city for a quality dining experience.

Only if your hungry for Prime Rib!. I was driving down the main street in Burlingame and saw this place and it looked nice enough from the car. The next day I decided to stop in and give it a try. The menu is very limited, Prime Rib in 3 sizes, New York Strip in 3 sizes, and fish of the day, and a vegetarian dish. The Prime Rib was great and on the bone and came along with potato and vegetable. I think you will enjoy it if you are hungry for Prime Rib.

The Best Prime Rib in the Bay Area. I've been to many steak houses from Sizzlers(Sizzle-less) to Morton's Steakhouse. By far, the best value for the quality has to be at Broadway Prime. The staff was attentive and courteous and the portions were large, not to mention tender and juicy. There might be places where the prime rib may be a bit better, but at those places, you have to give an arm and a leg in exchange for a rib(steak). For the money, there is no better prime rib in town!
