Great NY Steaks!. This restaurant has incredible prime rib but also wonderful NY steaks as well.

Everytime I've been to this place it's packed with people. Their meats are tasty - better than House of Prime Rib in SF.

Excellent food and service, no hassle. The prime rib tasted great and was tender just like HPR but the size of the peninsula cut was smaller than the smallest cut at HPR. With the Select and Broadway cuts, seconds were free. Yorkshire pudding is the best I've ever had hands down. Great mashed potatoes and salad did not have the nasty msg that HPR dumps on theirs. Chocolate mousse also excellent. They handled my party of 20 on a Saturday night with ease! We were seated even before everyone arrived and they brought the food out amazingly fast (everyone had their plates in minutes). Service was just excellent. Decor isn't all fancy stuffy like HPR but that was fine by me especially since the trade off is easy parking and quick service.

Highly recommend.... My husband likes to go there when he is craving for some great prime rib. Although I don't eat beef, I still love the place because the fish is always good and the service is wonderful.

Excellent Food and Service. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 PM without reservations and I was seated in the bar area. I received excellent service from Abrihi who was not only friendly; but, very informitive about the menu.

I had the Broadway cut prime rib and it was 5 A quality.

Two great experiences. I've been here twice now, and both times were fantastic.

From the salad to the yorkshire pudding to the prime rib - everything is just fantastic. I went with a table of twelve and a table of four and everybody loved it. The prime rib is truly the best I have ever had. Last time we had a bottle of '97 St. Clement that really highlighted it.

Service was perfect both times - and try the desserts - very good, but too many to name.

My one criticism is that both times I've been there, it's been hotter than hell - like sweat in your seat hot.

so good! a definate must!. absolute must eat! make rsvp! the prime rib is so good and the staff is excellent! for us, they went out of their way to accomodate us! we found this place walking down the street and made rsvp at the last moment!

The Best!. This is a great place. Considered reservations, but walked in without them and they still managed to seat us without a long wait. Great prime rib (just like the House of Prime in SF) and great service to boot.

BEST PRIME RIB IN BAY AREA!. throughout my experiences in several steak/prime rib houses, i must say that Broadway Prime is by far the best one. the atmosphere and settings was terrific and we were seated very promptly. our waiter went completely out of his way to make sure our experience at the restraunt was superb. the food was brought out much quicker than we expected, was the quality of the food was top notch. i will definitely be returning to broadway prime over and over again. i suggest that you do the same!

Service-excellent, Food-not quite HoPR. BROADWAY PRIME

Pros: No parking hassles, walk-ins accepted without 40+ minute wait like in House of Prime Rib, casual atmosphere, EXCELLENT SERVICE, prime rib quality as good as House of Prime Rib.

Cons: Limited wine list, limited side offerings, salad tends to be drenched with dressing (ask for it on the side), prime rib soaked in au jus, mild horseradish tastes like whipped butter (ask for both mild and spicy versions and create your own concoction on your bread plate), creme brulee, again, tasted like whipped butter.

EXCELLENT SERVICE MAKES UP FOR ALL. Will come back again and recommend but NOT as the best prime rib in the area. House of Prime Rib is still the best.

What a find!!. I have heard this place is owned and operated by ex employees of House of Prime Rib, so you KNOW they can't go wrong. Still carved at a station, with all the good sides, it's a bargain. Don't miss the garlic mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach, or the creamed corn. That's something House of PR does not offer. Good Yorkshire puddin'!! Great service to boot. Plus it's not well known, and well hidden, so getting a table is usually no problem.
