Consistently Excellent. Over the years this has been one of a small handful of go-to places for special occasions. The food is consistently excellent, the service great and the atmosphere is generally lively but comfortable. Husband and wife team seem to have poured their hearts into this place and it shows. Beet salad is wonderful, in fact, salads are one of their delightful signatures.

Best outdoor dining.. California-style French food with intimate atmosphere. The outdoor dining area is gorgeous, with little traffic to distract you from your meal or conversation. I've never been disappointed by one of their soups--get that instead of salad. The menu changes seasonally, but they always have a vegetarian dish (usually wonderful pasta). It's a great place to bring your parents or a friend you haven't seen in a long time.
